Poor response, tough to get a hold of

The worst roofer around.Ian, the owner of the company, is a con man and a liar.He quoted me to remove my existing shingles and put new ones on.When his crew arrived, they nearly ripped off the wrong roof (I had one section done earlier in the year). Luckily, someone was home to show them the correct roof to do (even though I had provided a picture when the quote was made). That was only the beginning of this nightmare. Despite it being extremely easy to contact Ian before paying him, after that he vanished. The work he left behind was abysmal. The shingles on the roof were not trimmed off at the ends so they were just hanging over. They didn't remove the old shingles, they just went right over them. No ice and water shield was used. They never replaced the ridge shingles. The metal flashing that had been on before was reused which isn't uncommon but they mangled it and left bare wood underneath it. Once again, no ice and water shield. I emailed Ian at least 5 times and no reply. Then a storm came and the roof leaked. I had to call him non-stop for an hour before he finally picked up a week later. When I informed him the roof was leaking (of course it was leaking. Not a small leak either, after one night of rain the bucket of water caused the toilet to flush when I dumped it in.) he was extremely rude about it. His crew came by again, dumped more silicone onto the flashing and left without a word. Somehow, they actually managed to make the leak twice as bad. I have just spent the entire day and hundreds of dollars ripping up what they did and fixing the roof myself. I wouldn't trust this guy to screw in a lightbulb. He will cheat you, take your money and leave you with a leaking roof. Which is even worse than a roof in need of re-shingling.Please see the attached photos that go with this review.Stay away from this company, hire someone else.

Did my roof last summer looked great, some strong winds knocked my vent over and they came back and fixed it with out any complaint and was helpful.
