Had a wonderful experience at dinner with a big group outside on the gorgeous patio. As someone who works in the service industry I appreciate good service. The staff were absolutely fantastic, attentive and kind. It’s clear they have an efficient system and everything felt very smoothOh and the food is always great. We love the Mama Ravioli. Every now and then, I get “wowed”. Tonight was such a night. The food was great, the ambience lovely and the service from Gary was top notch. I highly recommend Mamma Teresa when you are in Ottawa.

Brilliant restaurant for a date night. The choice of food to choose from is ample, almost as though we have dish for everyone.The portions are generous and the service is great!One thing to note is that they are a bit on the pricy side.

I would like to start by saying thank you to frank for being a great host and nick for being a wonderful waiter. The service and ambiance is excellent, but unfortunately the food didn’t matchThe starters were okay, we got the calamari and tomato mozzarella. The Alfredo was terrible, unfortunately my guests were embarrassed to let me know when I was there because I would have send it back. The spaghetti bolognese was nice and so was the tiramisu.I just expected the food to reflect the reviews presented and price.

Wonderful atmosphere with excellent staff and great service. Food presentation was mouthwatering. The bolognese sauce on the spaghetti was salty, as was the lasagna. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Had Italian salad, Ceasar salad and caprese salad along with the Lasagna White, Veal Parmigiana, Fettuccine Pesto and Ravioli with a tomato sauce instead of the rose cream sauce.

We gave this restaurant another chance and we were not disappointed. Great, professional service. Calmari was a little under-fried but tasty. The chicken Toscana was AMAZING. The sauce and chicken week so flavourful! Nice grilled veggies, although the roasted potatoes were not particularly outstanding. House red wine was wonderful. Christmas decor was magical.

I was very excited to try out this place. The interior is beautiful, service was pretty good, but my veal parmigiana and spaghetti was inedible. The sauce was so tart it tasted like someone added 3 tablespoons of lemon on top right before serving it. The veal was chewy and rubbery. I literally ate 3-4 bites and gave up. The waiter was less attentive once the restaurant got busy. He didn’t even bother to ask why my plate was still full. I didn’t bother sending it back or complain. I did enjoy the wine. It’s unfortunate as I was looking forward to a nice dinner out with family and friends. It was an expensive meal, $200 between the two of us. I have had way better food and dining experience under $50.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mama Teresa Ristorante, and I must say it was a culinary delight! From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu was filled with authentic Italian dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Mama Teresa Ristorante truly captures the essence of Italian cuisine, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving an authentic Italian dining experience.

Mamma Teresa Ristorante
We found Mamma’s years ago after it was recommended by my mother in law. We’ve been back every year during our annual visit home from Thailand. Having been blessed to travel the world a few times, eaten at Michelin starred restaurants, to family joints, Mamma Teresa’s is easily in our global top 5 places to eat. Consistently delicious, staff has always been great to us. Frank is a gem, and will keep us coming back.

Bad services, we waited for 15min after finishing main course. Two waiter walked back and forth to prepare for other tables.I understand that they might got busy at that moment. However, to have the customer wait for 15mins straight is a something you shouldn’t expect from a restaurant like mama teresa.
