This review is from someone who is an intermediate climber, a recent member (i bought an annual membership), andBoulderparc is exactly what the name is. While skateparks have skateboarding (and I think scooters) bouldering is basically a bouldering park. There is absolutely no top rope, lead, or sport climbing here.Space: The gym is a modest size which in my opinion looks bigger on the inside than on the outside. There are two main islands with a division in the center with plenty of space to walk. Another thing about this gym is the chairs and tables, along with a work out studio and upstairs to do work or chill. The upstairs is incredibly beautiful. Changerooms are plenty and washrooms are sufficient. Plenty of space to hang coats around. Lastly there is a place to train in the back that has everything you need to train for climbing, namely bouldering; squat rack, hang board, campus board, tension board, etc.Climbing: the climbing itself is amazing. Lots of beginner climbs and higher grades to challenge any seasoned climber. I would say that this gym can suit any climber, but also can be a place where anyone can go to really get better at bouldering. You have an arrangement of climbs with adequate problems for all levels of climbing so even if you're a beginner or a pro, there's fun stuff for everyone.Vibe check: It do be vibing here. People are friendly, encouraging, nice, and did I mention encouraging? You will notice that people here want you to succeed in your climbing and don't be surprised when strangers yell at you, you can do it" or "come on! You got it!". I think this is a reflection of the owners

Best gym in the city! It’s a medium difficulty gym with the greatest community out there! All staff and fellow gym goers are some of the friendliest people around.

Good workout. Nice ambience. Great experience for me. I would say it's a bit costly, however the experience was unique. As a first timer, I was nervous at first. But the staff were really helpful in explaining everything. Had a great time and enjoyed bouldering. Looking forward to trying Bouldering again.

Great climbing gym. It's definitely more of a specialist gym aimed towards intermediate and advanced climbers. Has v0 all the way up to v12, maybe v13, true to the grades.Personally, I would advise beginners to try a different gym, as this can be quite difficult for them.

About a year ago, I was struggling on the last move of a problem at this gym - there were no feet and the finish hold was very bad sloper and very far away. I had tried all sorts of weird beta with no luck. Looking for help, I introduced myself to a strong climber nearby, and it turned out he was the setter. I asked him if he had any beta for the last move and he told me that he didn’t know how to do it, and hadn’t done it yet. I think that says a lot about the gyms setting.I’ll visit this gym whenever I’m in town to visit family. When I visit a gym, I really just care about the quality of the product: the setting on the walls. Huge moves, very few (if any) foot options, poor finish holds, and awkward movement are par for the course here. Many problems are inaccessible to shorter climbers, and I watched several shorter women struggling on problems that should have been well within their ability but for the large moves or egregious lack of foot holds. The tension board is dirty, with several holds having broken and others misaligned. I travel a lot across North America and this is one of the gyms I least look forward to climbing in. I honestly only climb here because, luckily for them, their main competition is the Hub, which is even worse. When I do visit I mostly just climb on the tension board.

Got into climbing earlier this year and happy to say this is now my home gym. The main space here feels very welcoming and homey, and the wall resets every few weeks keeps me coming back for more challenges. Besides the main climbing area, they have a small area for weightlifting, an upstairs loft to do some work or just relax, and a cafe with some really tasty smoothies. Overall a clean space, incredibly spacious and run by a great crew.

Got a day pass at boulder parc and greeted by very friendly staff. The lady that helped us was great and went over the rules in an organized manner. The climbing here is really well set. The grades are respectable and they make you work for them. Would definitely come back

Incredible bouldering gym. My fav bouldering gym across the ones I’ve been to in San Francisco, Vancouver, and Toronto so far. Its vibe is Climbing gym/Cafe/Tech office lol. Has a cute cafe, yoga room, and a sitting area on top of the yoga room with a bunch of tables, two hammocks, and a chess board!!! Lots of tables on the main floor for eating. There are board games as well with lots of charging outlets around! Cubby storage in the centre of gym with charging outlets, so you can keep an eye on your stuff while climbing and charge your electronics. Really nice and quiet on the Saturday morning that I went. Climbs are interesting and challenging but very fun! Appreciated the complimentary hand lotion :)

Boulder Parc is an excellent climbing facility with even better staff! I recently chaperoned a group of teens here and we all had an excellent experience. The facility itself is open and engaging, as well as organized with climbs of progressive difficulty. Additionally, the staff were friendly and supportive, giving our group members confidence to push themselves to new heights, literally and figuratively. Everyone who worked with our group was fun, patient, and generous in sharing what was clearly something they personally loved to do. Nothing but positive things to say - check them out!

The area is spacious, clean, and open. I love the tables and lounge area, effectively transforming this into a social hub as well as a bouldering gym. My friend and I were complete n00bz but we felt very welcome and encouraged. The staff were also very warm, attentive, and thorough in their orientation and introduction. Shoutout to Carlo and Jeff. I am grateful for this addition to our community, and look forward to coming back :)
