I have been throught the online set up and recieved an email indicating how to sign on and set my first password. Unfortunately it did not work. So I called the toll free nubmer to request signon assistance. After holding for about 10 min I decided to take them up on the offer of a call back. I left my number but did not receive a call back. Day 2, did the same thing: called, on hold for 10 min, left a message requesting call back. day 3, decided to email requested a call back or return email. Nothing. Either this bank" does not actually exist or they have no one in customer service. It's now the end of day 4 and I have not had a call or email. I think I will just cancel my application."

I have left 3 clear messages in the past 2 weeks. Their messaging suggests you will be called back the same day yet I have not heard from anyone. There is no way to contact them directly so I am at a loss as to how to access my account which says is 'inactive'.More than frustrating and so unprofessional of them.

They dont have phone support. Called 4 times and waited on the line about 30 minutes each time - after line was disconnected. Lost 2 hours of my time...Never got anybody from deposit service support. As usually, they promise good service and support but since they got your money they will forget you and absolutely dont care..___________reply to owner reply below.I called 4 (forth) times! after about 30 minutes line disconnected asking to call later! Who then supported your virtual" customer support? They never call you you back. They PERMANENTLY have extremely high volume of calls! I would say extremely low level customer support! Everyone in feedback below complaining about that for years- you did nothing to improve (maybe to hire more professional people to you support? You are loosing clients and money but who cares?) And stop to give the promises that you dont keep - it would be fair to put on your website below Contact us information - words - we can not guarantee that you will be able to contact us as our customer support ALWAYS "busy" and ALWAYS not reachable"

They steal money from you under the guise of pre authorization and then never release the funds back to you when additional charges go through from the merchant.This has resulted in me being charged twice multiple times and never getting my money back.Terrible customer service.

I received a People's Group Paypower Mastercard gift card. It has $400 on it, preloaded. The back of the packaging states that I can use this for on-line purchases, in-store purchases or for cash advances, wherever the Mastercard logo is show.I called their customer service number to confirm that I can withdraw these funds as easy as is stated, and found out I need to upgrade my card, which comes with a $4.95 monthly fee. Then, there's a $1.95 ATM fee. NOT impressed! NONE OF THIS IS INDICATED ON THEIR PACKAGING!!! No fine print, or anything!I can still, however, use the card for transactional use, for free, though.I decided to look at the reviews for this PayPower product and saw a lengthy series of 1-star reviews. One of them had the same complaint that I did, except this person decided to upgraded his card to get the money. After trying to withdraw the funds, he saw he can only withdraw $100 PER WEEK!!I called back Paypower Canada's Customer Service, in Central America, and asked for them to confirm this. They said IT IS TRUE!! $100/week ONLY!! For more than $100/week..........you need A 2ND UPGRADE. I didn't bother asking for the fee details on that, as I will be destroying this stupid card as soon as I spend $400 on it, which I now have to do before the end of February, 2019. It's Feb 5th, today.I am lucky that I don't have to rely on these types of companies, as I have good credit, already, and a credit card, but I'm disgusted by these tactics, which pray on people with bad credit just to scam them into paying loads of fees. An American way of thinking of credit.CASH IS KING!!! KEEP YOUR DEBT IN CHECK AND DON'T FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS.I'm not familiar with People's Group, as I am in Toronto and they appear to be a B.C. based company, but I would be embarrassed by this, if I were them.
