US Social Security Administration

Over an hour on hold on the phone twice and no answer. Only 2 people working in there and wait time is well over an hour. I hope I never have to come here or any other social security office again.

I noticed many are posting reviews that they didn't have a great experience at this office. I have to say though mine was very pleasant. Nobody loves having to go file paperwork but honestly I was only there about an hour and the gentleman that assisted me at the window was very nice and super helpful! I was there to change my last name as I recently got married. The wait time to get in is the longest part due to Covid-19 policies they are adhering to but honestly the wait wasn't even that bad and moved quickly. Once I was at the counter the gentleman was very helpful and I was done in 5 minutes. They said it takes about two weeks to receive your new card, but I just received mine in the mail today and it has only been a week. I highly suggest this location.

This office has a total of 15 available windows but only ever has two clerks working. God forbid you go around noon because then they go on break. After waiting over an hour, we weren't even close to being called for a simple name change. There were no more seats available in the waiting room and at an average of 1 person per half an hour, there was no way anyone was going to get what they needed accomplished.

Quick and easy experience for a name change. I filled out a few forms online, then came in to show the needed documents. I was in and out of the office within 40 minutes and the person who helped me was very nice!

It was my first visit SSA at this location and I had a good experience.I arrived on Friday after lunch without an appointment and I spent less than 10 minutes from entering the building to leaving it with the document I needed in my hands. I was pleasantly surprised.Friendly staff and fast and smooth service. Thank you!

I called into Social Security help line and waited over an hour to make sure I had the right docs so I didn't waste my time.To preface this is for my 4 month son who doesn't have many documents. I had a hospital release, birth certificate and his medical card.Lady at this branch said whoever I talked to on the phone gave me the wrong information and rules are rules". She told me I had to get shot record from pediatrician.I'm angry and frustrated. Crazy."

I don't think anyone is particularly thrilled to be in whatever situation that brings them to need the services of this office. That said... give these people a break! It's not their fault you're going through whatever you're going through. Don't take your frustration out on them. Especially during a pandemic.Mrs. H" was phenomenal. She was patient and kind and she seemed to actually CARE. THANK YOU !"

They only have 2 windows open and both ladies working were rude and short . The one woman was super rude to an older man trying to figure out his social security benefits it was sad!

I went in to get my SSN, and both the officer and the lady were super nice, helpful, and everything went smooth. I waited approx 25 minutes after I got my number to see the lady to help me out and I had a very pleasant experience overall. I was in and out within an hour.

The guard who works there is very helpful, professional and kind. The lady I talked to was very helpful with information. Good location.
