Absolutely Fetching

We highly recommend Tracy for any dog training needs. Our two rescues - Bacardi and Tux - took puppy classes with Tracy 2 years ago. It was a great help with their socialization and their basic training skills. Tracy is so patient and encouraging with the dogs. You can really tell she loves and cares about them. And we learned a few things about dogs too! Bacardi and Tux recently had another visit with Tracy to continue with their training and development and again came away with new skills. We are so pleased with Tracy's services!

Tracy is a top notch trainer! Experienced, knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant. She identifies the reasons behind the problem behaviours in the dogs. Tracy was a great help and resource for training and bonding with my recently adopted shelter dog. She is kind, patient, and so knowledgeable. We would not have come as far as we have with out our one-on-one behaviour sessions. If your are looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable and uses science based positive training techniques, Tracy is the one for you.

5 stars isn’t enough! We have now done two rounds of puppy classes (socialization and elementary) with Tracy and it definitely shows in our dog’s behaviours. Tracy provides excellent training in a group setting but is also very willing to provide one-on-one advice. Each week we walked away with resources that we continue to refer to. As a first time dog owner she’s been a great resource and very encouraging. Not only did our puppy learn a lot but we did too! We highly recommend Absolutely Fetching and can’t begin to express how wonderful Tracy and her team is!

Tracy came to my house to train me on how to best address my current foster Joe’s behavioural issues. Tracy was super patient withJoe and has a keen knowledge of dogs, their body language and how to train using only positive methods. I learned a great deal from her and hope to help Joe and many more like him.

Tracy is the dog whisperer! We signed up with our 4 month old English Bulldog for the Puppy Class series and the information we learned has been invaluable. Tracy is a gifted educator and has a lovely, calm demeanor that the dogs (and owners!) immediately connect with. Her classes are well organized and give time for the puppies to play while also learning how to behave and basic commands. The take home information and homework helped us stay true to the task of supporting our puppy in adjusting to our family and home. It was simple enough that we didn't feel overwhelmed and it kept us consistent with daily practice. We are already looking forward to the intermediate class to continue our work with her (and Sam!).If I could give Tracy more than 5 stars, I would!

I just finished puppy class with Tracy at Absolutely Fetching and my puppy and I both loved it! She was wonderful to work with - kind, positive and very helpful. The socialization was invaluable and Tracy was great about gearing the classes toward what the individual puppies / families needed. It's been fun seeing the progress my puppy made each week. I look forward to taking more classes in the future!

Tracy is an incredible, educated, skilled and dedicated trainer. Truly THE BEST in the area! She is knowledgeable, very experienced and so easy to relate to. She helps you to identify the underlying issues, the reasons behind the challenging behaviours in your dog. She even collaborated and consulted with our vet. I love that Tracy was so kind and respectful of my children. She highly involved them in the training process. It was evident from the start that Tracy was dedicated to our family. She had compassion and a deep understanding of our dogs needs. She was always available to us by phone and text as well as in person. Her patience in teaching us how to train our fur-baby was extraordinary. I highly recommend Absolutely Fetching!

We brought our lab puppy to the puppy preschool and the puppy elementary classes and they were great. We and our puppy learnt so much and it was incredible to see how quickly our little pup learnt. Tracey is so knowledgable and friendly, she provided us with extra guidance on how to help us through some at home puppy problems. It was such a positive experience; a great way to bond with our pup and an important opportunity for our puppy to socialize with other dogs and people.
