The service was beyond anything I expect from a hair salon. I had gone to a DIFFERENT salon and had a horrible colour job done. The blonde I asked for was yellow. I was freaking out because I was leaving for a trip in less then a week. They were able to get me in that night and bring it to a point where I wasn't embarrassed to wear it down.

This may be a long/corny review…just a heads up!Soo I was struggling to find a salon. I had one for a few years but the stylist would post about her political beliefs and would block you if you thought different, so needless to say she blocked me.I was looking for a good year as I don’t trust people with my hair! (I’ve had them cut waaay too much, I would have chunks of hair with no colour, terrible cuts, etc…) I found Taz and did a deep dive into the colourists/stylists & Erin was my winner!The girl washing my hair gave an A+ head massage I could have fallen asleep hahaha! Erin asked me what I do first and what I wanted. When I let her know she was very honest about me loosing most of my length as it was soo dry & fried!! She actually cut off all the dead hair where my old stylist would have kept me with dry pieces at the bottom!Erin even told me I have a dry scalp which I was never given any tips about my hair/head/scalp! They know what they are doing at Taz & I feel like they really care about hair health not just making a buck!!I recently got a new job and cancelling/rescheduling was very easy & they were nice didn’t make you feel bad about not being available anymore!Thank you!!!

To post or not post?I feel bad leaving a negative review but I’m so disappointed. My mom and I have been clients for years. I showed my stylist a photo of what I wanted and was not told it would be a problem. My stylist knew I was unsatisfied as I expressed my disappointment with the outcome. To fix the streaks she suggested a shadow root to blend it which I’m not sure why streaks were done at all.. Now I’m left with brown roots, a red band and zebra stripes.. nothing close to what I asked for. For $400 this was supposed to be a professional service but looks like an amateur did it.I’m so upset.. what do I do now..PS.. my mom’s hair is no better than mine. She was left with a line where you can see the foils were placed.. no blending at all. It looks like she needs her roots done and it hasn’t even been 2 weeks. Also not sure why she got streaks either.. her hair is also not anything close to the photo she provided. She even asked if it was better to do an all over colour or do what was pictured and she trusted the stylist to do what she needed to get the results she was looking for. Needless to say we won’t be returning. Super disappointed.I know my review is all over the place but long story short, we don’t know what happened so you’re taking your chances going here.

I got a hair cut and a hair colour service by Candace. I wanted to get rid of the highlights I had which was done a year ago at another salon, was light blonde, and I am Asian, so it looked terrible on me!Candace was patient and she listened to my woes! And did a superb job! She corrected my hair color and I absolutely LOVE it! Thank you Candace! ❤️

Had a great experience with Courtney at Taz Hair! She was so friendly and easy to talk to, and did an AMAZING job turning my yellow hair to a beautiful blonde! I loved how open the staff were about the pricing so you knew how much everything was going to cost before you got to the cash register! She was very informative about the bleaching process and made great recommendations to keep my hair healthy!!

Courtney is the best hairdresser I have ever gone to - super professional and kind. Highly recommend. She does the best colour blend and she knows how to cut hair. It's always clean at the salon and the rest of the staff are very courteous.
