Great Canadian Dollar Store

I absolutely love this store- there's always something cool here and they have a wide variety of selection. Yes it is not your typical Dollarama but they have so many cool things here and can do key cutting/ helium balloons/ and now they have ice cream and snacks. Definitely worth a look!

NOT a dollar store. Most items are grossly over priced. I was shocked to find halloween items that were upwards of $30++. Lots of items that should have been/would have been $2 at dollarama were priced at $11+

Do not shop here. They have decided that they know more than our public health officials.Went to go in with my 5 and 9 year old and was immediately banned from the store because they didn't have masks (my wife and I had ours on).With businesses struggling to survive in Covid time, this is one store that deserves to go under

Not stocking useful items. Seem to be moving more to cheap kids toys, wrap and pic frames. No help offered. Customer service is not very good. You have to wait for the cashiers to stop talking so you can get your stuff wrung up.

Great local shop! I find things easily that are harder to find in the big box store. Just ask staff here. They are super friendly, also you can buy a helium balloon. I recommend a visit.

Great variety, friendly helpful staff, and of course low prices make this place a frequent local stop for us. Unlike Dollarama, you can actually return defective items if you need to. Thank you!!

Was in last night right before closing, I didn't realize they closed at 8 and ran in for some craft supplies. A young girl, thin with glasses, stood at the end of the isle and screamed at me. We are closed" so I responded "okay am I still able to make my purchases?" She followed that with "yeah but you need to HURRY UP!". Keep in mind I had literally been in the store for less than a minute and walked past BOTH of staff members as I entered the store and NOTHING was said to me about closing time. The roll bars were not across the windows etc. I walked straight to the till with my stuff and was rung through by another employee who wouldn't make eye contact

I bought some card stock and velcro strips at 4 p.m. yesterday. Went to return the unopened packages with receipt, this afternoon at 12 noon(please note less than 24 hours later). I have been told I need to WAIT until they decide it is safe to accept returned items because of the pandemic. So basically, they prefer that the items lie in my garage for a few more months, during the pandemic, rather than take it back and give me a refund, like most others stores are doing, even while the pandemic is on. The items are ALL STILL IN THEIR PACKAGING AND UNOPENED 20 hours after purchase. Ridiculous policy- I hardly ever go to dollar stores, and most certainly will be giving this one a miss, henceforth. Pathetic customer service!
