I like going to this particular First Choice Haircutters, not only because I like to support my local area but because they always give me the hair cut I like. I walk out satisfied. The staff is friendly too, this helps the experience. I do recommend this place.

I've been going to first choice since they've first opened in Carleton Place. I've never had to wait more then 15 minutes and they are always happy to take me in even when I show up 10 minutes before closing.Very happy with the service. Especially the last few visit the women on staff are A1.Thank you

I have been a First Choice client for many many yearsAs with all things in life we have different tastes and opinions. I have been fortunate enough to find someone that cuts my hair the way I like it. And for that, I will drive to Carleton Place!Great staff. Friendly and truthfully worried about making sure the customer is happy.

I am not usually able to write a positive review when it comes to First Choice. I usually get an ok or horrible haircut, a cut that I hide under a hat for months. Today I was not only AMAZED, but IMPRESSED AND EXCITED! If you want to get a great cut, go to this first choice in Carleton Place and see Jenn. She not only spent time cleaning her station between clients, and I mean sweeping but also sanitizing, she stood there and actually intently listened to what I would like done. I am not an easy hair cut either. I have ideas and rely on my stylist to do the magic and also to warn me what it will not work. See I have thick hair and you ladies who have the same know that those cute cuts not always work with heavy hair as it doesn't have that flip or cute fly aways as in the pictures.She repeated back to me what I said and really understood, going through each section saying to me ok we are going to do this and this. It was great. She did exactly what I wanted, with giving the cut that fluff, whisp and nice wave back. I could not believe my eyes when she was done! I was like who is this person I see in the Mirror, after several bad cuts I had to let it grow out, today I saw the cut I was dreaming of for 4 years. Jenn you made my day, and after fretting to where I was going to go, it was well worth the trip from Renfrew. I would recommend you to anyone, and I will be sure to come back next month. Thank you Jenn, for taking the time on my cut, I am not sure if anyone has told you, but you certainly found the right profession, Keep up the great work!

My sister and I came here to get bangs for the first time and they did a remarkable job! We were so nervous and we came out so excited and happy with our new haircuts! Highly recommend
