Every staff member I dealt with went above and beyond to be kind, empathetic and helpful! They were all amazing at such a difficult time. The response time on every matter whether it was pick up or an email or a phone call was always bang on efficient. I couldn’t have asked for more. Kyle Cuthbert made the process of getting my father cremated, along with death notifications very smooth. He responded to all my requests and was always personable and caring.Margaret Burnside was very helpful getting me started on my duties as executor. Taking care of many steps for me and lining up what else I needed to do.Arbor has a very nice system set up. My father had arranged for pre-payment with a home in another city, Capital Funeral Home seamlessly transferred the process to Ottawa. I was given a very handy guide “Closing Affairs” to help me along in my duties as executor. It is part guide, part portfolio/file folder and is indispensable! I would like to thank the staff at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery for providing an excellent service, being courteous, professional and compassionate during my friend’s funeral on last Sunday, April 16.I would like specially thank Rexan Wong who offered great support and help, even it was not her working duty and time, she came to help us making sue everything went fine. It was a great comfort to have someone who understand Chinese and Chinese culture and be able to help us plan accordingly and complete the process smoothly.I would also like to thank the technical staff (Dave?), with his excellent support, we were able to connect the relatives in China, interactively shared the funeral with them. This greatly comforted the family members both in Ottawa and oversees.

Nobody ever wants to go through the experience of arranging a loved ones final passing and resting place, especially when it was unexpected. It happened in my case and I will be forever grateful for the support from Randy Bellini. He's a truly compassionate and deeply understanding person who guided me through one of the worst times of my life. He provided me strength and answers to my neverending questions at anytime. He went above and beyond to make my wishes for my husband's final farewell possible. Overcoming an ice storm, power outages and time restraints, Randy made it happen. He's a truly honest, and caring person, dedicated to serve the people who need him in their time of grief. He's part of our life story now and my family is forever grateful to him and his team. David, Lori and Susan were so experienced and graceful at guiding us through the arrangements, service and after facts of our loved ones passing. We are so glad that we chose this location for our loved ones care as they all made the process so seamless for us. I am extremely happy with the service at Capital. My marble bench was crooked so I asked to have it leveled again and it was taken care of really quickly and looks great. Many thanks to staff and the groundskeepers for a job well done
