Visited Sunset Grill from Breakfast, since I was in the area.Coffee was fresh, potatoes were tasty and eggs came out as requested.Pleasant experience and amazing customer service.

I always come back when I see a sunset grill restaurant.I never have a problem with Pickering location.Food is good whatever I order.Customer service check up is always there.And it's clean and comfortable.But I have to sayCooks! Watch your profanity.I really don't care but I'm sure somebodyWill care.Some people are extremely against profanity.Other than that yall did a fantastic job dishing out quality food and maintaining a steady rush.I'm a chef myself.And I see organization and professionalism.Well done!See you again.

Terrible portion size, eggs cooked wrong(suppose to be over med not hard) couldn’t even add the chocolate chips into my pancake sent on the side and came melted. Expensive and not worth it

New Years brunch with the family. We ordered the 8oz striploin steak $22.99 with 3 eggs any style served with potatoes and light rye toast. The steak was cooked properly medium rare and the eggs were sunny side up as per order. The potato hash served was not appealing and looked old and dry. I would have preferred the potato latkes or pancake style or these potato cubes.The servers seemed a bit overwhelmed with the volume of diners. They did their best to bring out the orders quickly. The coffee is bottomless here, and they refilled regularly for us. The breakfast menu has great variety to satisfy your hunger. Give them a try.

Compared to the last time I was here, there are big changes. I doubted the store was under new management and I was correct. The service is still great, the quality of the food is much better now. Great value great service. Highly recommended and will be back for sure!

I can understand the increase in prices considering the inflation. But I was surprised to see the amount of food we were served for $10 breakfast. Had ordered a regular 3 eggs served with potatoes and rye toast. The amount of potatoes in my plate didn’t bother me. It was half the amount of the previous customer’s photo (Nadia’s Review). But the size of the toast was bothersome. Our breakfast was served when I had left the table to wash my hands. When I noticed the toast and brought it to their attention. The waitress who hadn’t served said she will get me more toast instead of switching the ones in my plate which I hadn’t touched. She must’ve told our server. I believe her name was Amanda. She came to table saying she heard there was an issue with the order. I mentioned it to her. To my surprise she asked if I wanted to pay more to get more toast. All selected toasts were rye. I understand rye toast comes in different sizes in a bag. But please don’t serve the end pieces to your customers and expect them to be ok.In response to wanting to pay more I said, no. “But I would like for you to switch what I have in my plate.” The server said “she will have to check with the kitchen”. Finally she showed up with one extra toast. I wish I had taken pictures to post if I knew this experience was going to be so sour. We had also paid extra $2.99 for extra toast. Same story, tiny pieces. A bagel from Tim hortons seemed like a better option at that point.I paid the bill and left quietly. Later, called the place to speak to a manager about the experience. He was too busy. Left the complaint with the person who had answered the call. He didn’t seem to care. No customer service skills. Basically customer service is too much to ask for these days. They just want you to show up and pay them what they ask for and leave. Will definitely consider taking our business elsewhere.

What a great way to break the pandemic blues. Breakfast on a beautiful morning. The food was great and our server was super attentive and friendly despite being on her own.

We went for lunch. We ordered a meat lovers omelette, it was fluffy and tasty. We also ordered their freshly squeezed orange juice. Their crab cake Benedict was awesome and the sunset pancake was also good.

Large location, never have to wait for a table. Typical staple breakfast options. Good service. Impressed they had Turkey bacon, however little to no fruit options on there menu. Pancakes were delicious. In a busy plaza, therefore parking lot can be a bit crazy.

I have read some of these reviews and am not surprised.. My lady and I stopped going a few months ago because we fell ill due to the potatoes being undercooked. When we had breakfast for the last time there, I asked the server specifically to cook the taters crispy which is how I prefer them, which he basically refused saying that how they are cooked is the standard. Even when I pointed out that the standard made us sick, still refused.. So in the end, won't be going back, and I pray the place gets shut down.. CUE THE OWNER COMING TO THE RESTAURANTS DEFENSE
