Community Laundry

Dirty. NO HOT WATER in any machine. ALL Cold regardless of settings. All machines. Even the utility sink is cold only! I used the top loaders and 2 different sized front loaders. The front loaders have a very strong smell of mould. The filler compartments all have black mould in them or crusty uncleaned detergents, softeners, etc. No operable Laundry soap vending machine, vandalized and not repaired. Top loaders left marks and stains on quite a few pieces of clothing. The dryers wouldn't accept my quarters, a woman doing laundry told me you have to bang hard on the coin area for the quarters to be accepted. Also, you have to wait to press start after every 5 minute cycle of the dryers. ONLY redeeming thing here are the 4 new dryers at the back which were clean, hot & operable and you didn't have to wait to hit start every 5 minutes!

I have been using the Community Laundry from the past two months and I am very happy with the convenience of paying by App. It is a quite organized place, great location and excellent communication with customer service. I had an issue with the coin exchange machine, which was resolved promptly. Thank you!

Nice little laundry mat. It offers a few seats while you're waiting, WIFI, PayRange (pay by phone), a change dispenser, detergent, fabric softener, and snacks by vending machine. There is a Golden Gecko coffee stocked in the coffee machine but the machine is broken. Golden Gecko coffee is right across the road though. It has a couple of things for the little kids to do as well. All in all a nice little laundry mat worth going to in a pinch!One suggestion... Sweep the exterior windows in the warmer months. In the evening there are swarms of huge hungry spiders hanging everywhere. Kinda gross!

The general appearance of the premises is fine, however, the rest leaves to be desired.I have used this laundromat twice, and both times were disappointing.The fist time, the actual duration of washing cycle of each machine was way off. Second time, on May 6/2023 was simply awful. Two old style machines did not wash, these machines were stuck on a spin cycle. I had to rewash everything again, as my laundry was dirtier, than before washing. More money, more time...... After loading laundry in to two different machines, I discovered that there was no hot water. It was ice cold water. In the end my laundry looked as it needed another wash. All in all, it was a terrible experience.

Its a good place. Free wifi, good music but the washroom is not open to its customers.

Deleted my first review from 2 years ago. This business has gone to the dogs now. Place is now dirty, machines broken and dirty. Price increase thats not justified. And that coin machine, does it ever work?Only good thing that remains is the music.I was impressed the first year but now, sadly, i wont be coming back.

Wonderful staff, and nice big washers and dryers to wash comforters and duvets.

One of the cleanest public places to do laundry. The ladies who work there are all very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

I have been using Community Laundry for the last few months for my massage therapy studio. Robin and her team are wonderful to deal with. Very professional, prompt and accommodating to my requests. My sheets come back impeccably folded, clean and never any hair or random things mixed in (which I’ve experienced with linen services in the past). I’m so glad I found Community Laundry and would absolutely recommend their services.
