I went in to submit my application for CPP since the online portal was very difficult, and calling the help line was no help at all. The lady at the front desk was very helpful as well as cheerful, welcoming and knowledgeable. I was in and out in just a few minutes.

If you want to spend at least 3-4 hours in line for a SIN number or to renew a passport, this is the best place. This is the policy of the federal government towards the citizens of Alberta.

Went to go get a passport today. I had Helen help my wife and I. Super pleasant and cheerful. We were in and out in an hour.

HIRE MORE STAFF…What a joke of a government… Worst than a Third world country !!! They sure implemented the “COVID system”. Horrible example to the great Canadian Nation.

Came here to get our passports and the service was friendly and courteous. We were helped right away. It did take a while but there was 3 of us so it was understandable. Overall we got done what we needed to get done and it was pleasant. The office is clean and well lit. It’s a service Canada office so you can get pretty much any government service you need without having to go downtown.

Typical bureaucratic office. Instead of helping someone understand the system, pass it along to someone else (tell you to call the 1 800 number when the Canada website tells you, you can come in as one of your options). Come here if you must

My experience was bad. Every interaction with the “help desk” was unpleasant. First when you go here they are in full force covid lockdown type procedures- that doesn’t bother me. The thing that bothers me is that the lady working the help desk on October 5, 2022, (around 1-2 pm), was unnecessarily rude with every question i had. I wanted a passport application & she gave me one. I asked for an extra,( in case i make a mistake & don’t want to return to be treated like dirt again), she said i can print another on my own. I said can i just have one more & she said no- they have to print all those forms. So i asked if i can use the computer and she said i could try. I finally got frustrated and said can i use the printer to print a passport form? She said yes & moved on to the next person.I understand maybe this position can probably deal you some hostile & grumpy people, but I wasn’t unpleasant at all until she gave me attitude at every single turn. Get a job you actually want lady, I know plenty of people who would love to have even your position & the security of a job. If you do look for a different job, I can’t stress this enough, don’t deal with people- it’s not your strong suit.

My experience here was fantastic. When we arrived, there was no crowd. The lady at the gate guided us properly to the counter where an Indian Man helped us with paperwork and asked to wait for our turn. Our SIN numbers were done by Stacy and she was a wonderful officer. She explained everything in detail and kept doing conversation which made it easy for me.

Had a dour faced elderly woman who was extremely unhelpful. Went back with same documents a few days later and received the help we needed. It's a shame that government employees have made it so that they cannot be fired. Canadians deserve better. It's no wonder the Government of Canada has to put on all their automated phone call messages that they expect people not to get mad at them. If they just fired the nasty and incompetent employees and treated Canadians with respect, they would probably not encounter so much upset on the phone and the embarrassing message could be removed.
