Having dealth with many roofing companies but the quality of the skylight I got installed was outstanding. They are effective and economical too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Jiri was aggressive in his interactions with me. We had a skylight installed, for which the installation date had to be rescheduled due rain. When he called me, my only question was “is it raining”? For Jiri, this was somehow seen as a dismissive remark that unnecessarily needed escalation. The interaction was so distasteful that I would not like to have another interaction with the company. Communication in general was also confusing (i didn’t know who to deal with).Moreover, although he did talk to us about further issues discovered during the installation and told us he would send pictures, he then proceeded to email us an invoice to get the pictures. There are no requirements to send those pictures, but this is the first time in dealing with many contractors that anyone charged for additional pictures.Finally, he was nice enough to honour the quote, but when this “issue” arose he held it against us as if doing a favour and that we should be thankful. That is not how any business should be conducted, and we would have been happy to go to another competitor.

I met with Jiri and indicatedwe are thinking of installing a skylight and solar tube and that I wanted a quote. He was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. Three days later i get a quote for the skylight, solar tube and pot lights( which i didn’t request). the quote was one price without any breakdown. I asked for a breakdown and was told they don’t breakdown their quotes. I asked if i could get a quote for a smaller skylight and he said no basically. Then he sent me an email saying he had waived their $250 quote fee and wouldn’t be providing any other complimentary services. I explained that the total cost was outside of our budget so we thought we would do the skylight only and that i was not told about a quote fee (has anyone been charged a fee for a quote?). he comes back and says see his earlier email. I have no concerns over pricing but rather the approach to obtaining a quote.
