Peace Hills General Insurance

Horrible service. Just bought a new home and got insurance through whatever these guys call them selves to receive a letter in the mail refusing to continue insurance due to the house condition. With out doing an inspection or even calling to negotiate they looked at an old picture on google maps and pulled my insurance. Bought an older home to fix up like most do.; but to have a insurance company pull out and set all the red flags without communicating now i cant get insurance anywhere. I intend to make sure everyone knows how big a joke this company is and warn all before getting involved before they screw you too.

Incredibly frustrating experience. After multiple years with no issues on my end I called to give them a heads up that my bank was changing and asked to pay manually - I was told I was not allowed and it would come out next month with my next payment. Partial payment came out the next month but THEY inputted the wrong bank info for the other partial payment and did not call to inform me, so when the next payment came out it was substantially more than expected and because I had not transferred more than $70 extra to my checking from my savings, it came back NSF. I noticed and immediately reached out to tell them I would like to pay it manually immediately and was again told I am unable, and they then told me due to this, I’d have to pay my policy up front if I don’t want to lose it. Going with another company, but so disappointing after multiple years with them and broker link.

I have had vehicle insurance for 50 years and switched to Peace Hills last year. One of the worst decisions I have ever made. It has proven to be a nightmare since I hit a coyote on December 31, 2021. Many sleepless nights trying to evaluate my situation. The adjuster downright lied in an email. I spent over 2 weeks proving my case and sent all the necessary documentation to our Broker. I requested a new adjuster be assigned to my case over a week ago. I have neither heard from the broker or another adjuster from Peace Hills. If I could give Peace Hills a 0, I would have. Please stay away from this Insurance Company.

I had been in accident. Its almost been a month after appraiser came and took details. I have not heard from any of them after that. I would not recommend this insurance to any one.

What a terrible company. They flood you with emails and attachments and then refuse to help if you make a mistake in misreading. They refused to work with me toward a solution. They were also condescending and then threatened me with thousands in fees.They are completely apathetic and pounce on any opportunity to suck additional money from you.I’ve never missed any payments and was a reliable customer.I’ll never recommend or use this insurance agency again. I’m switching ASAP and suggest you do the same.

I don't know where to start. I am a customer with Peace Hills Insurance. I was hit by a yellow school bus, stopped at a red light dropping my 9 year old off at school. Thinking my insurance has my back , I went to the shop that they recommended. I was appraised, to get it all fixed by the shop. Then Peace Hills sends a 3rd party appraiser and he gives me a call telling me because I had a dent on my tailgate that he believes that the buckle on my tailgate was not done by the bus hitting me and dragging on the back but by my little dent. Argues with me for half an hour and eventually just hung up the phone on my face. Peace Hills does not believe me or the shop but this 3rd party appraiser. So Now my truck has been in the shop for over 2 weeks, and Peace Hills Did NOT fix my truck. They did not cover the damage done by the school bus. What a terrible experience ! What a terrible company who does not care about its clients, who does not believe it's clients but more so who does not believe the shop that they sent me to??? This is with me being hit by a yellow school bus. What's funny is if they did it correctly they would not have paid all this rental money, it would have cost less for them to fix it right but they wanted to argue with me and I bet they paid more money to Enterprise rental than it would have cost to fix my truck correctly.I wish I could give this 0 stars or -5 stars but I can't. I mean what an ordeal , I definitely would not want them as insurance company if something serious happened!!!! I mean something simple as this , being hit in front of school by a school bus which was completely her fault . I would not recommend this company because they are penny pinchers and do not take care of their customers!!!!!

Been a customer for over 2+ years. Been trying to keep my business afloat during this brutal pandemic and I had a payment come back due to my banks error and they cancel my policy days before the Christmas holiday.No compassion, no understanding that a mistake was made. I paid the balance online immediately after hearing of the issue, but still cancelled. Now I am going to be in breach of my lease and probably won’t be able to get a new policy in time because of the holiday season.I just don’t know why companies don’t understand what is going on for some of us business owners. I own a restaurant and have been locked down now until mid January. No opportunity to make any revenue, but still working my butt off to pay my bills.Just really disappointed and I had hoped there was still some compassion and understanding in this world. Guess I was wrong.

Great insurance company to deal withVery polite people always when I call them.

The worst company to go with for insurance. I had a quote done for a new vehicle I was purchasing and for it to be finished in a timely matter I needed to call them daily to see to it that it finished. After signing documents and agreeing on a price for the insurance policy I received a call from someone reporting to Victoria Lake. I was told over the phone my insurance would be cut off as soon as I hung up the phone due to THEIR mistake. Hearing this news I decided to go with another company, TD, one that would not lie to me. After calling and signing the cancelation papers I got some paper work in the mail showing that I was indeed covered for that entire first month and they are charging me for it after blatantly lying to me. Terrible service, unprofessional workers. 1/10 would not recommend.

Honestly, I wish I could give zero stars. Worst insurance company in the entire world. Very disappointed with any interactions I have had with them. They completely found me at fault for an accident that the police told me was not my fault. They were so disrespectful and even came to my residence to interview me but it felt pointless and a bit like harassment and completely pointed the finger at me as well as didn't even bother to hear my side or fight for me. I pay for insurance to have coverage and they make me feel like a money pit with nothing to show for it. Beyond disappointed in this place and I will probably never do business with them again and would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want to feel used and disappointed.
