Heather from Star Metroland and her team go the extra mile.  I recognized them when they mentioned the newspapers such as Waterloo Chronicle which I have heard of but they are really on top of online marketing too.  They broke down some of their strategies which were thorough and impressive.  What I appreciated the most was their focus on the service end and being able to meet and customize the advertising plan to optimize not only views and clicks but to focus on conversion to activity on the sight as well.

I’m not quite sure how she does it. But Heather Dunbar and her team at Star Metroland Media have an uncanny ability to connect people and businesses with needs, to the people that need them. I’ve witnessed first-hand the professionalism and commitment to the community that Heather and her team display in every interaction. And the willingness to go above and beyond for the businesses they advertise for is the reason I will continue to go back time and time again when I need my message and my business dispersed throughout my community. A conversation with Heather and the team at Star metro land media might be just the thing you need to reach those people and customers that have eluded you for years.

I have attempted to stop delivery of the Waterloo Chronicle six times. Last week pleaded with customer service to put a stop to the delivery because the paper was being dropped on the public sidewalk. I believed that someone would trip over it. Today a child tripped on the newspaper partially covered in snow.I am 72 years old and prefer not to put on winter clothing to walk to the bottom of my drive to pick up a newspaper which is outweighed by many times with unwanted and unused advertising flyers. For me the Chronicle is a waste of newsprint paper and goes directly into paper and plastic recycling without being read.I would have prefered that the Metroland publisher had fulfilled my requests to stop delivery six times. I do, however, understand that they can offer full public coverage to their advertisers using automobile driving delivery people and by ignoring complete stop and temporary holiday stops. Regardless of Metroland's income desires I need them to stop delivery or, at the very least, place the papers at my door and not on municipal property, public walkways, and my drive.
