Phoned yesterday to discuss my bill. I was told I would get a phone call by a supervisor in 24 hours, no call received. I am new with enbridge and I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and high rates.

Enbridge Gas is utterly incompetent and completely disappointing. Responsiveness is extremely poor. Many layers of bureaucracy that does not provide the consumer with a voice. The government has aloud this company to create full control and no competition in the market when customer service is extremely poor. It is so sad that we have this situation. Natural Gas prices in October 2021 - $0.1332/m3; August 2022 - $0.3138/m3. The company does not do proper bill management and does not send meter readers regularly and then waits over a year to hit you with a very large bill and then their employees cannot explain it to you. When you ask to have it escalated the managers hide and you have to chase them. This is an extremely poorly run company that has cornered the market in Ontario. I hope our government steps in to correct this soon!!!

We called them 3 times in the 3 months they didn't give us a bill and was hit was $975 bill when they told us over the phone some poor excuse each time first it was we only get our bill every two month and then they couldn't get a proper reading and then our account was apparently on hold because they weren't sure it was vacant or not like how is the possible when I have been paying for gas since I moved in come June. If that isn't bad enough it takes forever to get ahold of anyone to even explain what is going on. Not impressed with my services at all.

whats to say except the obvious. a monopoly business that completely takes advantage of the situation. the rates are outrageous and the fact that you have to press numerous numbers inbetween numerous automated messages just to speak to a human is pathetic. alot of people will be without gas with these disgusting prices. crooks

I can honestly say I have never seen such incompetent and rude people in my entire life. I have owned my house for more than two years and I have been over charged every month due to an error at their end. My house is about 750 S.F. and my last bill was about $1,200.00. The meter serial number and usage do not match what is on my invoices yet they are very slow to correct their mistake.

Not even a star, worst Canadian company, is think the government should do something to solve our problems with the minumum wage we earn, me and my husband work to feed our three kids and pays the bill with no help and no extra money, last year in December and January our gas bill were 120.125 the most, this year in December was 355 and this month it is now 390,almost 400.Are u kidding me!!! We use same amount, and when I tried to call them I swear to God terrible customer service with no solve problems. I thought they gonna said there is a problem with your bill and this is just an estimate, but noooo the surprise is that is the actual bill, waaawww 400 for only the gas bill

Worst experience ever! I wish I could give zero stars. I got mail saying I had to change my gas meter and when I did I got a safety “B” violation because my gas pipe needed to be painted. I did just that on the exact same day and now I’m afraid they are going to turn off my gas access. They are demanding to get a certified gas technician to see if I painted my gas pipe right and I called one company and they said this is ridiculous, so many people are complaining about this company. This company does not explain anything clear and I wish I never changed my gas meter!

I phoned, automated system worked perfectly. Spoke with a very pleasant agent immediately. Problem solved. Also… last month was worried about a possible gas leak…they came out immediately and remedied the situation. I’ve never had a problem with Enbridge. It looks like a lot of people on here are trying to get the gas company privatized?? Private for profit?? I’m happy with the way it is. Capitalism is not always best in situations of consumer need… heating is a need just like Education and Health Care… None of which should be for profit.

Got an increased bill of $667.65 which is roughly 5 times the regular amount. We called Enbridge, they said they were unable to reach our meter for months. We asked them about a specific date they attempted to reach the meter and found that on that specific date my parents were visiting from out of town and I had the day off work. 3 adults home and 2 cars in the driveway. I guess knocking on doors was also “unavailable” at that time as well. We spent an hour on the phone setting up a payment plan and since then we’ve received another bill of $667 to be paid at a separate date prior to our payment plan payments. The first person we spoke to had zero information, we requested to speak to someone else and a manager called us back. They assured us that they would be able to solve the problem and yet here we are, trying to reach them again for service issues. Would love to be able to switch companies but they are the only provider.0 stars

I pay more for service charges than I use in gas what a joke. Also they put carbon tax on the bill before HST so you pay even more! Lastly it takes 10 minutes navigating the automated assistant on the phone before you can talk to somebody.
