There was only one lady working at the bar who was clearly struggling to keep up. She denied me service because she said she had to catch up". Management needs to ensure they are properly staffed or ensure that the employee working at the bar can handle the stresses of her job. For a Sunday evening

Went tonight for dinner here. Food was mediocre at best. Staff were cold,unfriendly and pushy.We were just seated when wait staff first asked if we knew what we wanted. Hurried us along repeatedly asking if we were finished even though place was dead.Food was decent, the pulled pork and reuben were good size....cheese cake was A+

I would never go back here again. We waited in line for close to an hour and a half just to get a table. When we were seated we waited another 15minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us and get our drinks.We ordered the fritters fries and wings. Upon getting our drinks 3other tables were seated. Those people recieved their drinks food and bill before we even got ours. When we got our food STONE COLD. It took another 15mibutes to get our waitress attention to get the items removed from our bill.Needless to say we didn't eat and the experience was terrible. Take my advice do t go there

Visited this place today. When entering the line. The two servers there were more interested with their conversation with one another we didn't even get a hello for starters.than when getting ready to be seated was asked in a rude manner want to just sit at the bar. Said ok. Deciding what to eat we were waited on by very unprofessional staff I have ever witnessed. Also manager who was clearly not doing anything I believe should at least be able to take an order or two instead just standing there when they.re customer to be served. When placing order instead of writing it down person takes the order goes away for about ten or so to only come back and ask what we ordered.then we tell him meanwhile server was clearly not listening because when putting the order was completely something I didn't even order. I would say poor poor service at best as well as very poor management staff as doing by example was clearly not put into play here. I personally would say to avoid this place at all cost. It gives a vibe from staff that can ruin a nice night. As it did for me.

Came in on a Tuesday night, we were quick to be seated. The service was very poor - it took a long time to be greeted by our server, and the drinks took long as well. My husband's meal also came wrong!The blackened chicken penne was very good though.

We came to the Artist Cafe three times during our visit. My food was average, but all three times, my husband's food was sub-par. The last time we went, he got the Cubano sandwich and he had to spit it out because it was so terrible, and the service the third time was awful too. Our waitress never came back to check on us after bringing our food. A different waitress took our plates and gave us our bill. Will not be returning.

Came in for lunch on Christmas with a total group of 5. Our server didn't seem happy, and seemed to rush setting up our table. We ordered honey garlic chicken wings to start, three of us ordered the salmon with baked potatoes, one ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the grilled chicken with Cesar salad. The honey garlic wings were poorly marinated with the sauce, and were dry. The salmon was good, however my family was not impressed with the presentation of it, as they were used to having their potatoes consistently cut as per previous experience. With every bite into the fish and chips, it was like eating pure oil. The tartar sauce and the Cesar dressing were very vinegary as well. My sandwich tasted like I was just eating a bun and a piece of grilled chicken without any flavouring. Our second waitress was very nice and offered us take out boxes as none of us could finish our meals. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant unless they improve their food quality for their listed prices.

Portion size is good. Prices reasonable but on the high side. The full rack of ribs was huge. Service was hit and miss. First server was ok, but when she went on break, the replacement server was really great.

The menu looked good, so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the fish tacos thinking I'd be getting something Mexican. Instead, I got three Dempsters tortillas that had coleslaw in the bottom and strips of deep-fried fish-and-chips fish cut lengthwise and lain on top, sprinkled with beans. Lame!Service was good but I'm not going back for crappy food like that. Try elsewhere!

Hostess seemed not to want to be hear huffing and puffing when I requested my meal a certain way. BTW a week ago one of the female servers didn't wash her hands after using the bathroom. I brought it to the manager's attention (heavy set male). He saw this hostess carrying food to a customer. He allowed it to be served. I had to let the customer know that her plate of food was carried by a hostess who didn't wash her hands. Hopefully things will change.
