Bannockburn School

We have been a Bannockburn family for 7 years now. We couldn’t be happier with the Bannockburn Montessori curriculum and overall experience. Our oldest is in grade 4 and our youngest is in the toddler program. Like their Bannockburn peers, they are both working at a level beyond their years. We see their personal and academic growth on a daily basis. Bannockburn fosters independence, free thinking, community, and personal responsibility. It is a challenging yet supportive academic environment. The school community is welcoming, generous, and student oriented. Even with all the academic opportunities available to families in Toronto, we would choose Bannockburn all over again.

I cannot say enough good things about Bannockburn Montessori. The education and care my children have received there is outstanding, not to mention the confidence in themselves that has emerged as they have grown. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Bannockburn is an outstanding school. The environment nurtures not only strong academic skills but also fundamental capacities, such as self-regulation and social-emotional skills, which make meaningful learning possible. Our son is so happy to go to school every single day!

Not a big fan of this playground nor of their fields: water tends to pool and it's a muddy mess! Also, not sure if this is officially an off-leash dog park (don't think so) but very frequently dogs are running around off leash here.

Bannockburn is the best Montessori in Toronto. Our two boys attended the school from the time they were 18 months old until they finished grade 6 (when the school ends), and were exceptionally well prepared for grade 7 at another independent school in the city. Not only were our children prepared academically, but they also developed terrific soft skills like organization and independence. The teachers and head of school are gifted educators and really get to know the children so they can help them achieve their best potential. Can’t recommend more highly for a first-rate Montessori education.

Such a great school! Our kids were here for 3 years and had a great formative experience. Bannockburn put them ahead of their class in almost every category when we had to move to a new school. The faculty and the broader school community were fantastic and gave the kids so much attention and focus, we couldn’t have asked for a more nurturing academic environment for our children.

Excellent School, where my grandson is thriving!! He just turned four and he knows his multiplication tables!! Dedicated teachers, small class size, safe environment. He is the second generation of our family to go to Bannockburn!!

The best Montessori school in Toronto! It starts as early as 18 months old toddlers. The teachers, staff and head of school are fantastic, caring and very knowledgeable. Children are their number one priority. Not to mention the great community of parents. Registered your kids now!
