My experience started with a phone call inquiry about heat moulding my snowboard boots. To which the employee stated that you guys in fact offer heat moulding services for snowboard boots but it’s a little busy right now so I’d probably end up waiting around so I thought maybe I’ll come when google says the traffic is least busy which is an hour before closing. I show up and hand my boots to two teenagers they open the box up and look perplexed until an adult comes around the corner. The kids throw my boot to him and say “hey do you know how to heat mold these” to which the guy replies “sorry but it’s too late for us to do this, could you come back tomorrow?” at this point I waited until my next day off to try this again BUT at a more suitable time for your staff. I come back 7 days later between 12-3 pm with maybe 1 customer in the store. I attempt a THIRD TIME to buy services from this establishment. An adult appears and looks at my boots and exclaims, “you have to go to a burton dealer as they have there fancy boot oven” to which I ask I’m genuine shock where can I find a button dealer and the reply was Top of the World which is all the way downtown. *side note they had the same heat moulding equipment you guys do no special oven*I deleted my initial bad review as I thought it wasnt fair but after my third unsuccessful attempt and being told I have to drive DOWNTOWN instead of in my area. The best part is they heat moulded my boots for half the quoted cost by your teenage staff. Thank you for wasting my time and directing me to a retail establishment that would actually assist me in paying for services.I’m giving this review as you guys do sell items and services to some people at certain times.

I want to give a shout out to Zach at Kunstadt Sports in Kanata. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping me to select a new tennis racquet. He was truly committed to finding the right racquet for my level. I had visited Sport Chek at Bayshore Shopping Centre and in Barrhaven, and the only advice their consultants were able to provide was the more expensive the racquet...the better the racquet"."

Zach was an incredible point of contact at the shop. Super knowledgeable, helpful, honest and made my bike purchase easy. Really looked out for the customer, budget and preferences. Will happily shop again here with my family for other road bikes in the future. Very seamless process, great help, and highly recommended.

Their service attitude was good, the price was reasonable. However, something really scary and dangerous happened to me today after I pick up my repaired bike - the back wheel was not fully tightened so that it almost got off my bike when I was trying to cross a road! I was like what the heck???" that was pretty dangerous because I was at the middle of an intersection. Hope they could be more careful when fixing other people's bikes."

Lived in Kanata for years but never really visited Kunstadt, assuming it would be a bit pricey. I ended up shopping for some snowboard gear here, as a beginner, and I'm really glad I did! Mike helped me out and he was incredibly knowledgeable. We got me set up in gear appropriate for my size and skill level (or rather, lack of). He ended up staying a little past his shift, which didn't seem to phase him (I still feel a bit guilty about that). I can't speak for all of the employees working there but that experience alone will be enough to have me return in the future.

We received exceptional customer service. The people here are passionate about their work and are experts. Not to mention so patient and helpful.The only reason we got the bike here vs. a big store was their staff. We felt welcomed and valued. Plus, support local.

Great support and service at Kunstadt in Kanata. Took my mongoose bike in for brake repairs and gear adjustment. Turns out brake pads were special size for Mongoose bike and just slightly different from standard pad. Bike techs went the extra distance and spent addition time without having to special order the pads finding an affordable solution for the pads, adjusted the gears and got me back in business quickly. Very much appreciated their efforts. Highly recommend and will be returning the future for any of my bike needs Thanks Kunstadt team!

Just visited to pick up my skis from here! Had a great experience w Nate (I think that’s his name? tall guy) back a week or two ago picking out my first non-rental ski boots. I was told they had limited stock but they still managed to find something that suited my needs and hopefully will use for a long time! super excited to try them out soon!! :)

Nothing but positive experiences here at Kunstadt. I always have my bikes and skis serviced here and have always been impressed by the customer service and quality technicians. Won’t bring my stuff anywhere else.
