As a small business owner I reached out to Red Ear media on May 16th, 2022 looking for a specialist to re-do my website and help with branding.From the very beginning the communication was poor. After scheduling an appointment for Wednesday, Tracy asked me to reschedule from Thursday to another day and when I replied that our appointment was on Wednesday in the first place, she got back to me saying “I have it in my calendar for Wed”. We have email communication about the scheduled date and I feel those emails should have been consulted to see if the client was right. That’s what I would do, anyways.I should have stopped there. I still went ahead with the Zoom meeting where 3 people, including Tracy, were present. I felt the meeting went well and during our discovery goal which lasted about an hour or more, I told them of my goals and aspirations for my company. I had no specific budget in mind, as at this point I had other companies quote me anywhere from 5k to 30K for my type of project.I was told it would take them about a week to get back to me with a quote and we left it at that. I was excited at the prospect of working with a local team. After a month, on June 13th, after the meeting and not hearing from them, I emailed them back asking if I should still expect to hear from them or if maybe they decided not to go ahead with the project. I heard nothing back.After maybe another 2-4 weeks I called, and this time I finally got through to Tracy who explained that she was very very busy with the acquisition of redder media and she couldn’t believe it that I fell through the cracks. “Didn’t my other person from the company send you something?” She was very, very apologetic. She assured me I would hear from someone in the company within a week and they will “get something out quickly” for me.Today is August 2nd and that conversation happened over a month ago. I still haven’t heard anything. As a small business owner, I know how much goes into communication, keeping track of things and how things that can pile on — and I run my business by myself. I understand that Tracy had a lot of going on, but with a team of people, they still left me out time after time, and of course, that feels disrespectful, insulting, and tells me they don’t really care about other small businesses and that I am not worth their time, even if to drop me a line to let me know they are not interested in taking me on.

My company hired Rob at Red Ear Media to manage a Google Adwords campaign for us. From the beginning, Rob met with us to discuss what it was we were looking for and got a sense of our business in order to put our best foot forward.
