The restaurant has a nice environment, from the moment you enter you are transported to a colorful Caribbean place. The music the service and of course the delicious food will bring you joy.Thanks a lot Enyer for an outstanding experience.

Lovely local restaurant. Celebrating my friend's birthday. Food and drinks were affordable and big portions. Lovely staff. Beautiful music. It's get very hot in the private room. But overall a place to get your dancing on and enjoy the night.

The welcome was really friendly and they helped explain some dishes as I hadn't eaten Dominican food before. The food was hearty and tasty and good sized portions. I had the mofongo with pork and my friend the stewed fish. They had Brixton beers on tap, which is nice. The piece was lively and loud, so maybe not the place for a quiet dinner, but that added to the fun for us.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new location of Casa Mofongo Bar Restaurant in Brixton area and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that was adorned with beautiful Caribbean decorations, instantly transporting me to the tropics.The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Our waitresses Marinel and Naomi were especially delightful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied throughout our entire dining experience.But the star of the show was undoubtedly the food. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Dominican dishes, and everything we ordered was simply delicious. From the tender and flavorful chicken to the perfectly seasoned rice and beans, every bite was a delight.The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. The restaurant also had a great selection of drinks, including some amazing Caribbean cocktails like Morir Soñando that were the perfect accompaniment to our meal.Overall, I had an amazing experience at Casa Mofongo. The new location is spacious and comfortable, the decoration is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for an authentic taste of the Caribbean and a great dining experience, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Great experience, authentic Dominican Food. Reminded me of back home. Owner was extremely nice and offered a piece of cake and shots on the house.Food was amazing, and quantities were very generous. Great quality and well decorated! Should have a chain of restaurants ;)Thanks - I will be returning :)

The service was awful. My party waited for an 1:30 for our food. Additionally we waited for 45min just for water. The price for value was unacceptable. My pork in my mofungo was under done. As I ate my food I feared I would get food poisoning. The atmosphere was the only saving grace of this place. If you are not going to dance save your money and your time and avoid this place like the plague.

Nice atmosphere and typical Dominican and Caribbean food. We loved the vibe and the staff but the food wasn’t really for us, very heavy, very cheesy and felt quite junky. The restaurant is also not super well located (13min walk from Brixton) and I encourage the restaurant to get an up to date phone number, website and answer your Instagram!Ultimately happy to have tried but won’t be back. Also make sure you ask staff for a shot of Dominican liquor which is made of rum, wine and honey.

We waited an hour and a half for service.The waiter took an additional 30 mins to being us our water that we ordered.The food wasn't even hot after waiting that long for it. It was also DISGUSTING. the chicken and pork mofongos were unseasoned, undercooked, and overall atrocious.DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS RESTAURANT FOR FOOD.They did have good music and atmosphere though.
