The lattes are really good and in much larger portions than most other places for a decent price. Seating is limited and there’s no visible bathroom (you might need to ask to go into the back or go across the street to JJ Bean). Lastly, the butter croissant was AMAZING, one of the best I’ve ever had.

I want to give it 3.5 stars. It was a rainy day when I first visited there based on many positive previous reviews. As I entered the store, their counter with a wide assortment of sweet and savory pastries drew my attention once, so did the bright headbands worn by their staff. A slice of cake costs more there than other regular bakeries though, I noticed their portion is normal to big, so the price is in a reasonable range.I ordered an almond croissant and a holiday special drink. Both of them are okay, but not stunning. The croissant comes with a lot of sliced almonds both on the top and inside as fillings. After a few bites, I could taste the richness of integrated almonds with chocolate custard or syrup. The hint of disappointment lies in its chewy texture or the lack of freshness. As mentioned in previous comments, the croissant was soggy and not flaky, which influenced its flavor texture. I made great effort to cut it by knife, and eventually decided to eat with hands. Additionally, most patrons have a big chance to sit by a dirty table since their stuff, friendly and nice though, seldom clean the tables. They have time limit for using wifi (2 or 2.5 hours). If you'd like to spend a relaxing afternoon by yourself or with friends, you can visit this store and selectively order fresh cakes and pastries. If you just wanna stay in a clean and quiet cafe to get your work done, you can try somewhere else nearby.

Everything looked good in here and the variety was appealing. I bought their olive rosemary loaf. I was disappointed considering I paid $9. I think there was a total of 2 olives in the whole loaf if you add up the pieces and barely a scent of rosemary. Terra Breads green olive loaf is far tastier and actually has a decent amount of olives in it and it’s cheaper. Or for $9 I should have stuck with my usual olive bread at Fife bakery.

I used to go to purebread while in Whistler. And this place looks pretty much the same. They have very wide range of baked goods that are fun to look at. The service is excellent with attentive staff.Their goods are very big and doughy in general and I can’t usually finish even half of a scorn or muffin. They come in various flavours both in savoury and sweet if you like to try them.

There is some good stuff being sold here. The cakes are delicious. And the coffee and chocolate are tasty. Everything is on the expensive side but it isn't like I will come here all the time. It is only for a special occasion. This time my wife and I were coming in to get a cake for a friend of ours and celebrate her birthday. But as things go my sweet tooth got the best of me and I ordered my favorite cake and a hot chocolate. It cost more than I wanted to spend but the flavor was nice. Now to wait for another couple of months before I go back to enjoy my sinful pleasure.

The bakery offers a lot to choose and I've yet to taste something that was disappointing. On the other hand, I haven't yet sampled anything that was great. This section of Broadway has quite a lot of other options for pastries and coffee and while Purrbread has the largest variety it's usually not my first pick.

Wow!! A huge selection of sweet baked goods, and many loaves to choose from! We got the veggie sausage roll, the lemon strawberry whoopie pie, the lime zucchini pistachio loaf, and a rosemary olive loaf. personally my favourite was the whoopie pie, but everything was so so delicious I'll definitely be going back soon to try more things! The staff were wonderful and friendly also.
