Mahogany Dance Arts

The studio was amazing, my little girl enjoyed every minute of it. I think next year once she gets more self-sufficient we will bring her for classes that do not involve parent's presence.That being said, we enjoyed Combo class as a family all together as my husband and I interchanged every week, and my girl is so proud that she got a certificate.And Dance Teacher, Miss Kaylie (I hope I spelled it correctly) was so nice and gave little ones a lot of motivation. We loved her and especially my little girl loved her. :-)I already recommended your clases to couple of moms, as you guys are amazing. Thank you!

Mahogany Dance Arts visited our preschool and they were amazing! Miss. Addie was great with the kids and had lots of fun age appropriate dances to show them. Would highly recommend them for all age groups!

My daughter has been going to Mahogany Dance Arts since she was 2 years old, starting with sessional programs and then moving onto full year programs for the past two years. She has loved every class she has taken! The teachers and studio directors are wonderful, kind and so talented. My son took a full year hip hop class this year as well and he really enjoyed it. The year end showcase that MDA puts on is fantastic! Every interaction we've had with MDA has been a positive one and we will definitely be continuing with this studio for as long as my kids want to dance!

Ms. Diana and Ms. Gillian run an excellent Dance Studio. The whole team is amazing really. My daughter loves going to MDA and I'm so happy to see her enjoy and develop. I do not hesitate to recommend.

Our 4 year old daughter has been going to the studio for over a year now, and she absolutely loves it. The owners and staff were all very patient and attentive as she was a bit shy and nervous at the start. Now she walks in the studio without hesitation- and loves every second she’s there.

My daughter loves MDA! We started doing the parented classes and now she is on her third unparented sessional class. It is so rewarding coming to watch the last session and all the little ballerinas are so proud to show off their skills! Through our classes we have encountered many different teachers and they have all been kind and wonderful with the kids. We are very excited to sign up for a full year class next year!

My daughter has been going to Mahogany Dance Art for two years and enjoys every second of it. She has made some great friends and comes home with a smile on her face every week. Mrs Sadie has been amazing and has been someone she looks forward to seeing. Mahogany Dance has been so helpful in getting my daughter out of her shell and they were eager to help when she was feeling shy. Now she can't wait to sign up for the next round.

Dear Mahogany Dance Arts,A big thank-you from two grandparents, who travelled from Ottawa ,Ontario to see their grand-daughter's dance recital on May 27th.To say we were impressed is an understatement. We expected to be wowed" by our grand-daughter's recital piece(Thank-you for You) but the show was so much more. We loved every recital piece. The organization was superb. The children delightful. Absolutely LOVE this studio. My daughter attended Mahogany Dance a few years back and then just recently asked to sign up again along with my younger daughter who is very shy. Diana, Gillian and their team go the extra mile to make the kids feel welcome and to prepare us as parents as well. They are great communicators and even take the time to make videos so the kids meet their teacher before they arrive. Most of all the kids have so much fun!!! Highly recommend this studio.

If you want to watch your kid dance pick a different studio.My wife and I were very excited to finally allowed watch our little 3 year old girl dance.We came together as a family and we were split up.My wife is 9 months pregnant and we have the truck packed up to go to the hospital at a moments notice and they wouldn’t let us both inside.So I was turned away at the door.You’d think they would have planned to allow for parents. Or make exceptions once in a while.There was a stage where extra chairs could have been set up. Also there were windows that could have had the blinds opened for additional viewing opportunities.The owner came across very rude, condescending and it seemed more Centred around a power trip than being focused on family. We are very family oriented so this was very disappointing.Small studio, and ridged owner.If you want to watch your little ones, then pick a different studio.Update:We easily found a studio a few extra mins a way that were very friendly and more than happy to accommodate both parents being able to watch as a couple/family. With some extra space/seats for siblings and even the occasional grandparent.
