Nice little bookstore/record store in Verdun. It be nice if they had a larger book selection and a wider array of genres available.Otherwise, this is a nice place to bring any classic literature or science fiction to for a fair price.EDIT: They seem to have a bigger selection of books now! Fantastic!

Bernard is a friendly, well-informed host with a small but well-stocked shop. Great variety of new and used vinyl covering several genres. The prices are at market value, too. Plenty of used books to browse through as well with choices in both English and French. Appreciate the neighourhood vibe without any pressure to buy. Great for a weekend dig whenever you're out and about along the eclectic rue Wellington, which runs through the heart of Verdun.

Far from a crate digger heaven it’s got a limited selection of mostly used rock vinyls, a bit of jazz and some classical. Good for and quick grab on your way home. Prices are fair and the staff are friendly. A must have in any neighbourhood.

Very nice place to to shop for LPs lots of them, you can always find something interesting, although,I believe it's a little expensive for a vinyl record but still, it's a fun place for crate digging.Also, and large collection of books, (English and French).I can always come here and pretty sure I can find something new.Staff it's nice and pretty fun to talk to.It's always good to have a place like that in the neighborhood.

Great feelings about this place! The person at the front was really nice and helpful. Also, imagine a bookstore in your head: you're thinking, wooden floors, warm colors, walls of books and records... That's literally love that this bookstore. I love that, it doesn't try to be something else. Also price are reasonable and everything is in good condition. I'm probably gonna pay it a weekly visit to see what's new! (Also they have English AND French books, unlike the bookstore next door who only carry French books and I think that sucks (even tho I'm French))

This store was organized and very cute but the clerk was less than welcoming.I walked into the store, nobody to be seen. Walked around and eventually he comes out. I spoke to him in English asking about how things are arranged and asking about English options. There was very few English options, 2 bookcases vs 10 French approximately. Which is ok but limiting. I found Inferno by Dante and another classic by Arthur Miller but there were no poetry books or real anglophone choices. So I said, « not much selection in English » to get a reply « as it should be ». I, of course, was confused.. perplexed even. Maybe he is joking, right? So I said « what do you mean? » to get back « this is how all of Quebec should be, minority English, if that, majority French so our books reflect what we want to see in Quebec ». HUH?? Do you not realize that English speaking people are a huge market in montreal, let alone VERDUN!! I speak French fluently BUT I am Anglo and I will never set foot in this store again. Simply because I want to give my money to a place that values ALLLL of their customers and creates equality, which by the way, may reflect your bottom line AND having ur store full since it was a ghost town! English books are written 10x more than French and somehow only have a small fraction on the shelves. I get wanting to accommodate your clientele, which may be predominantly Francophone but to say things like that is unacceptable, in my opinion. Will never go here again!

Fantastic place. Great prices on books and vinyls, it's not full of junk, but rather full of stuff you would actually want to read and listen to. They also give good prices for used stuff.

It took me a year to set foot in this store, but when I finally did- I was pleasantly surprised. I believe it's so important to have a local record/book shop in a neighbourhood and I'm excited to see it grow as the neighbourhood expands.I recently picked up some Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and other classics for a pretty good price.Will be returning soon!

Great selection of old vinyl discs at a good price. I always shop here for old vintage books, specially in the political section. I highly recommend this place if you consider yourself a book collector or fan of vinyl discs.
