I mixed up the dates of my car appointment. I showed up on the 9th instead of the 6th and now they won't rebook me. Apparently mechanics only get paid for the work they do so that mechanic didnt get paid because I missed my appointment. Really? Im extremely busy person and life happens and there is no kind way to put how ridiculous this is. I shop in Canadian tire all the time and I considered it my favourite store until now. So Canadian Tire you should do something to compensate your mechanics for honest mistakes like this. I will be seeking a resolution higher up.

By far some of the longest waiting I have ever had to do at a auto parts store. Half the staff is clue less and the other half is constantly having to help their coworkers… and let’s not even mention having to wait for the manager…

Things don’t have an order. Every time we are checking out it comes with a different price. A manager named Sandy comes to see what’s the pricing issue and is very rude, sarcastic and don’t listen to customers. Very disappointing that they have a manager with such bad customer service being a good store.

I dropped off a battery at the automotive and received a slip for the core to bring to the till for reimbursement. After doing my shopping, I completely forgot to give the slip at the till. It was convenient for me to drop off at this location but I was only visiting. I still had the slip and figured I could just take it to any location. When I took it to the Parksville store, they said the store that received the battery was the only location that can reimburse me.I got a hold of AJ, manager from theSquamish store. He was able to get it sorted and mail me a cheque after some emailing back and forth. Thanks AJ!

Try getting out of that store, if you don’t buy anything…ridiculous!! You can get out of a high end store easier. I had about 15 people pass me in the long line with 1 person on till. I would rather shop elsewhere..maybe you should go and check out other Canadian Tire Stores and see how they do it!
