Came to experience Philippino dining. Service was good. Waitress was pleasant. Restaurant was slow. In fact we were the only guests in the restaurant. Food came quickly and tasted great. Would recommend dining here.

Ordered via DoorDash cause I got no time to prepare for my husband’s cousin’s visit today when it arrived i was so disappointed with the serving I got. It is not worth it. Spent $19.50 for the little amount of pork sisig. It’s literally just 5 tbsp. Same thing with the chopsuey that I paid $17.50. If you’re looking for a shareable serving please don’t go to Max’s it is not worth it.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in Edmonton that we usually visit. I totally love all the food that they bring us in the table. So special and so authentic Filipino delicacy. If granted to go back again in here, I would not hesitate to do so. Bring your family and friends to spend your time in here and have a great time in this place. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Came with my bf and ate here yesterday for a late lunch. Staff are friendly, food is good and service is quick. I will come back again! I was excited years ago finding out there’s a Max restaurant in the city. It’s nostalagic!

It’s been a while that we visited this place again. It was Sunday but not busy at all. Yet it took a while for the order to arrive. As we step inside, not sure if staffs are busy but there isn’t any welcoming ambiance. Had to wait to be seated. Food is good but pricey for the serving. Not sure about customer service but doesn’t feel like they’re accommodating. I miss the good old days where Max’s restaurant is a family-friendly environment. No longer felt that.

Super friendly staffs! Thank you specially to Grace and the big boss for accommodating my wedding reception . They will always work with you as much as they can . Definitely still the best spot in edmonton ❤️

Lots of space, to the point that it feels too vacant or if filled, too noisy. The long tables and benches are not super comfortable. We had the meal for 10 people. Everything was ok but not great and didn’t include any of my favorite Filipino dishes. Service was nice but not attentive.

Party of 5 with reservation. Took 7 minutes to be serviced because we had to get the attention of a waiter. Then it took another 10 minutes to take our order only after we got the attention of the waiter again. So it was a waste of over 15 minutes just to get service (started to lose patience). Food came reasonably quickly but your service needs a lot of improvement. We had a reservation. Then you tell us you’re closing at 7pm and “hurrying” us out. We arrived at 5:15pm and wasted a lot of our time due to your service issues. Filipino restaurants are known for great food and service but the service level fell extremely short. Get it together!

It took a while to be seated and served even though the restaurant was empty. The restaurant seemed very understaffed and unwelcoming. The prices are very expensive for the serving size. They didn’t have buko pandan and the halo halo was very disappointing. Been here a couple of times and there are only a few good things on the menu.
