Have been going to them for 20+ years, one of the few honest mechanics left in the city. I trust them with all my vehicles and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great service all the time.

Gary and Tony helped me immensely. I live on the east side of Toronto and I'm happy I took my car to their location in Mississauga, despite the distance. They worked hard to find the right transmission, that was within my budget and were very understanding of my situation. I would 100% use their services again!

Trust this place ! My car started to make noise so I took it to the tire shop that had sold me new tires 25k ago.They told me I required a complete differential rebuild and it would be expensive, they showed me black oil from my car and said the rear end was burned out.I looked for a second opinion.I found this unassuming family shop ( Fonseca Auto ) where my questions were listened too and answered informatively.They were unable to just state what was needed and asked for the car to be left....I felt good enough to trust these guys .They thoroughly checked the drive train with a stethoscope to isolate the noise and discovered the pinion bearing to be the problem.The repair was super reasonable and the invoice did not show any gear oil required...when I inquired about the ``burned oil `` the other place had shown me.....It had not come from my car, the oil in my car was fine.Fonseca is my spot, they were transmission specialists for years and now do general repairs !Trust this place.T

Amazing people, I met Garry there, I had an issue with oil switch light. And he helped me figure out the issue and gave me many suggestions for different scenarios as issue was not being reproduced at that time. He listened to me with patience and educated me about the issue and relevant parts. ALL FOR NO CHARGE. Would definitely go back if any trouble with the car comes up

Fonseca Auto and Transmission is a great shop. Fair, trustworthy, and efficient. This is not just a place a rely on for my personal vehicle. We happen to be in the automotive industry and bring all our vehicles here and have for years now. I also read a previous review indicating this place was dangerous!? Please rest assured, this place is in a safe suburban neighbourhood.

Great service and expertise. Tony and Gary are very knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthy. Have been bringing my cars there for years. They have always done a great job. I highly recommend them to everyone.

EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD ATTITUDE.Being mechanical engineer with experience in Auto industry as well, I sincerely believe these father & son shop is the best for any transmission repair....I had transmission problem on my GMC Truck few days ago. I talked to Gary & decision was made in few minutes..Not only he knows his job, he has exceptionally nice attitude as well. Very COMPETENT" & "EXPERIENCED" person & above all very "REASONABLE PRICE"...Strongly

Great shop, great family run business,honesty and integrity run strong. Been going for 15 yrs. In a commercial industrial area with a lot of other shops and absolutely nothing wrong with the area.

Tony and Gary are father and son business that know what they're doing and are easy to talk too regarding repairs / maintenance / advice. Prices are very competitive here I would and do recommend them to friends and family.
