Alexanian Carpet & Flooring

I am a consumer who will provide an abundance of accolades when deserved, but I am also willing to highlight my disappointment when appropriate. Great customer service is something I look for daily and it deeply impacts my consumer decisions, specifically who I wish to give my hard earned money to. This is a testimonial about yet another superior customer service experience with Alexanian.About 10 months ago, I called Alexanian Carpet and Flooring for the first time, looking for new carpet. It was installed soon after and the experience of choosing the product, to purchasing, to scheduling the installation, to completion, was seamless and certainly can be described as superior customer service and product quality. Based on that experience, Alexanian became my family’s number one choice for carpeting, flooring and window covering needs. We are not related to anyone at Alexanian, nor does anyone that I know work there. I did know however that I could rely upon them and I called them once again a few weeks ago. My family needed additional carpeting and two large kitchen windows dressed.Genuine customer service is built into a company’s culture and is part of its fabric – if it isn’t genuine or consistent, I tend to spend elsewhere. Alexanian professionals completed the installation last week and it arrived ahead of schedule, with exceptional products, fair and competitive pricing and all to my complete satisfaction.Well done once again Alexanian – as I am compelled to do, I am simply describing my observations and I am happy to say that what I did experience continues to make me a satisfied and loyal customer.Craig P- Dundas, ON

They charged me almost three times what they quoted me to resize an old carpet and at that price I could have bought a new one. The whole idea was to save money by resizing the old one and now, $558 later, I just have a smaller old rug. I called to discuss the bill with them and they wouldn't even call me back. I can't stress enough to get everything in writing so they don't rip you off. Will never go back there and strongly encourage others to go elsewhere. They lost loyal customers in me and my family.

We returned to Alexanian's for our recent carpet needs as we always had most satisfactory service in the past. Our confidence was well placed. We had prompt, understanding help from John during our search for just the right product. Installation was at our convenience and the installers kept us appraised of the process. We are so very pleased with the whole experience and our rooms look lovely. Thank you Alexanian's.

I cannot rate the service too highly. We had five rugs cleaned with additional repair work. The repairs were of excellent quality. All work was done in the time promised. The rugs were brought back with additional underlays which were fitted, the rugs laid with all the furniture moving required, expeditiouslyy. I recommend this company and in particular the Alejandro and William who did the refitiing.

Extremely professional service from start to finish. We dealt with Grant who answered all our questions and recommended a suitable carpet and under padding based on our needs and budget. Short wait for installation and a room that is roughly over 500 square feet took them only a few hours. Installers were very professional also. We are extremely pleased with the end result

Fantastic experience from beginning to instillation! I really appreciated Duncan's expertise and how he listened to my needs and helped me choose the perfect carpet! Staff- John and David - were very patient and helpful with us over several visits in picking our vinyl plank flooring. They were punctual for their estimating appointments and very thorough with pricing breakdown. Installers were also very punctual, efficient, thorough and tidy and completed job in time predicted. We recommend.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I asked for an in-home appointment back in February 2021. It is now June 2021 and I have yet to receive a quote, samples, or have anyone visit my home. I asked for a new representative to assist me when I would not hear back from the person that was helping me, thinking this may help, but I was never given a new representative. I understand there have been delays and issues with businesses due to COVID-19, but the lack of communication and the lack of follow-through has been extremely unprofessional. I was fully willing to give Alexanian's my business, but will be using another business instead after this.EDITED 08/27/2021: Thank you to Garo at the Upper James location for making things right! He personally came to our home to do the measurements, and then we went to his store to pick out samples. Garo accommodated our schedules and even picked up the samples so that we did not have to return them to the store. Garo communicated along each step of the process, and ensured that the installer was following up on their end as well. Our carpet runner is now installed and looks beautiful!

They took my pet stained rug for cleaning and brought it back the exact same! It was never cleaned I called and asked for a refund and said there was nothing they could do! Don’t trust these people they are liars!
