Love The Pawsh Dog on Portage! Staff are friendly and courteous. My dog had a horrible experience at another salon (not Pawsh Dog) and ended up injured and infected. My poor pup (and me) were so terrified to go but he went and I’m so relieved it went well! The staff member listened to my concerns and assured me she would relay they info to the groomer and that he would be cared for. He came out so happy and calm the complete opposite from his last time. The groomer Angelica did a fantastic job with his groom, very thorough and he looks so handsome! We will back!

We have been bringing our dogs here for grooming several times a year over the past several years and have been pleased overall with the experience.To our shock, they raised the prices by over 80% without any notice. It would have been appreciated to know this at the time of booking, so we could prepared for this sticker shock/make an informed decision to go ahead rather than after the fact.

Grooming - LOVE this place and Angela did such a great job! My dog is Shep/Husky/Collie mix and has a BIG undercoat! Angela did a wonderful job deshedding all of that and he smells wonderful and feels thinner! He loves getting groomed and his nails done as I did them since he was a puppy so he didn't cause any grief there! She did a great job trimming everything up, cutting nails and Dews and moisturizing paw pads as well.They also give a report card to tell you how eyes/ears etc look at how your fur baby did during the grooming etc - love it!We just moved here and with so many new people/places I wasn't sure if he would be anxious at a new place but NOPE! He loved going in there, was happy to go with them and enjoyed the grooming. Very pleased with their service, will go again and also be going for some doggy daycare soon too! I’ve been going to this location for years. My 79 lbs golden retriever was usually under $100.00 until a year ago when it went up to $135.00. I last paid $135 in December in 2022. Fast forward to today I was asked to pay close to $200.00 for the very same service. My dog was there for 2 hours. I have no words and unfortunately won’t be back as a customer. My dog does look good but I feel this price is completely unrealistic. For the same price I a human being, could get an hour massage, haircut and shave at Tommy Guns, a $20 proline ticket and a case of beer while I watch the Jets lose to Vegas. Unreal

They go out of their way to ensure your pet gets treated with love and affection.Pawsh Dog offers so much, including airport pick up and drop off if required.NO OTHER place in Winnipeg offers this option.I have worry free vacations when I leave my cat and dogs with Pawsh Dog.

I have been taking my dog to Pawsh dog, specifically the Portage location for approximately 1 year to have his nails cut. It has always been very easy to get appointments at short notice and they have been great up until our past visit.I went in to do a routine nail trim, to my knowledge it went well until I got home, when I got him out of the car I noticed my back seat had blood on my seat cover, when he went to walk in the house there was blood all over the snow. They had clipped the quick. However, not just one nail but about 8 of them which caused a lot of bleeding. I took him for a walk (on grass and soft snow) 4 days later and they were still bleeding.**keeping in mind I have been coming here a long time and have always been told he is very good with getting his nails trimmed with NO FUSS**I understand mistakes happen, however I would have appreciated being told before I left the store that his nails may bleed and been given quick stop to stop the bleeding especially considering I PAID for a service that was obviously not done properly.At the very least if the employee clipping his nails was not qualified to do so and accidentally clipped a quick and did not feel comfortable continuing, I would have had absolutely no problem leaving and coming back another day to finish them with someone who was.I then called after walking him as obviously it was something they should be aware of, when I called in the girl told me To buy quick stop

Please call the owner before you decimate the fur of a dog. Shame on you, this dog is over ten years old and has never looked this decrepit by grooming. Let’s hope his fur grows back properly but either way we will continue to have to put sunscreen on him throughout the summer. He clearly can’t wear a coat or protectant in this heat despite his once upon a time coat of fur being there... I understand he’s a rural dog but do not just cut off all his fur. That’s not appropriate and even more so when you just do it without permission.DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! Unless you don’t want to be consolidated beforehand. My mother’s dog looks like a chihuahua instead of a Pomeranian. This was a last resort and regretfully so.

When I adopted my Stella at 3 months, she was very socially anxious, and my vet emphasized the need to have her socialized. Once I took her here for doggie day care, she had come a long way from being the shy pup in the corner to the life of the party in about 3 weeks, according to the daycare staff! I love receiving the report cards each visit, especially about Stella, her chihuahua mix best friend & all their friends at play! She was even in good spirits when I took her here for her first groom, which normally does not happen with dogs my family and I have taken in previous years. We had 1 Puppy Kindergarten class with Deanne before lockdown #3, who was probably the first person Stella did not run away from, and was paramount in having her come out of her shell, and teach us what she needed most at age 4 months! The staff have been lovely to deal with, rates are affordable depending on your package or subscription plan based on your needs, and it has been a blessing for scheduling to be flexible whenever work can go from being in office 1 day every 2 weeks, or suddenly tack me with working 7 days a week :)

My last visit was not a very good experience. I’ve been bringing my dog to Paush Dog‘s since they’ve opened in Winnipeg. I have a large dog which has a lot of hair. I have been charged accordingly I have approximately $135 to date.Show up for an appointment on April 10 and I am informed that the price is now $200.I was quite appalled by being told this. I received no emails stating price is going up a ridiculous amount. My goodness…..So needless to say, I will not be returning to Paush Dog‘s.
