After much research and comparison, I'm glad that we chose County Fireplace Co. to install our new gas fireplace. James and his team were professional, polite, and very tidy, and took the time to fully explain the fireplace function twice. I've hired many contractors over the years and this is the first time that I could say that about an installation crew. Usually a company sends a smooth-talking rep to give you a quote, and then the crew who comes to do the work is...different"...in many ways. We were happy to have this team of professionals working in our home."

Excellent service, showed up when they said they would and now we have a beautiful, toasty-warm Woodstove to get us through winter.

Amazing work! Excellent customer service. Installation was absolutely perfect, and on time! Not only that, they left the place squeaky clean!? (5 years ago).(Now) We had them come back to do new installations of propane stoves and move a pellet stove to a different room. Once again, they did not disappoint: excellent, friendly and on time service. Plenty of patience to explain us newbies the dos and don’ts of propane. Left the place impeccable. Left us with smiles on our faces!

Had an Enviro Q3 installed a little over a year ago by County Fireplace and we are extremely happy with the fireplace, the installation and the service. Looking for a fireplace (in our case propane) can be a bit overwhelming because there is so much choice. They were great to talk to about the different models and Christine provided some great advice. We recently had a service call and they responded promptly. Dave fixed the problem (under warranty) and even gave my another tutorial on my remote control. Just can't say enough about these guys!

We had a unique and rather extensive wood stove job(s) to do on our home in Prince Edward County. We had to repair an old installation to get it certified and were looking to install a new stove in the main living area of our home for our main heat source. The price of propane to heat the place in the winter was astronomical compared to wood. New to the area, we decided to go local" and support the local economy. We ended up going with County Fireplace. We made an appointment and James showed up on time to quote on the job. We knew that our previous wood stove installation was suspect and James confirmed it; though offered great advice on how to fix it cost-effectively.We then moved on to the new installation. We had initially decided to locate the stove in another area of the room. James recommended that we try another location and make the stove a center piece of the room. It meant more work for us in terms of relocating electronics and other office gear......but it was a great idea nonetheless.The two jobs came in around $6K; repairing the old unit with a new double-walled stove pipe and extension to the stack

We purchased a gas fireplace from these great folks 8 yrs ago. I have made numerous calls to seek help with the start up and the shut off always so patient and kind. Today was a perfect example of that. Message left within minutes Christine returned my call, walked me through possible issues, found the problem with me just like that.Done! In retrospect she could have sent someone, charged me a service call but no instead helped me solve the issue. I have recommended these folks several times in these last few years but, they just keep proving what truly honest, business people, they really are. Kudos to you once again and sincere thanks. Would not hesitate to recommend this business.100% satisfied.

I had County Fireplace install a new propane stove where there had been a wood burning stove years ago. The install was seamless, no mess, and it looks great. The service was also awesome, and they have really competitive pricing.I have recommended their service to many and will be using them again in the future!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company! Christine and James were so great to deal with. They answered all of our questions and were patient with us. There was a large selection of in-stock stoves to pick from, and they helped us make the right decision. The installation was professional and it really showed that they have a passion for what they do and take pride in their workmanship. Not to mention how beautiful our new woodstove is! Great overall experience from start to finish !!!Our visit to the showroom was informative and helpful, they have an extensive display of makes and models. Christine showed us several working examples on the floor and knew all of the specifications off the top of her head. They really knew their products !!We scheduled an install date and James and his team arrived on schedule, the placed the stove exactly where we wanted it and were very neat and meticulous with their work (floor coverings and a shop vac are part of their toolkit). They understood the way the stove should look in the room and tucked away all wires and pipes making it very neat and visually attractive.We would highly recommend County Fireplace co definitely a 5/5
