Pig Roast Catering

Now that we are allowed to have get togethers again, we wanted to host a family and friends reunion, but we wanted to spend our time interacting with people ... not cooking, so we did a catered pig roast. This company was great to work with from the moment I reached out to them, set-up the day of was professional, and most of all, the food (even the homemade sauces) was spectacular and all our guests raved about it. We fed 53 people with plenty of leftovers and enjoyed a stress free party.

We cannot say enough good things about Pig Roast Catering and our planner Catherine. Catherine was professional, good humoured, patient and detail-oriented right from the beginning. She managed our many questions quickly and kindly. She also asked questions of us to ensure that we had everything we needed and our day would run smoothly. On the day of the wedding, Catherine volunteered to take on duties well outside of a caterer's roll and collaborated with all our other vendors seamlessly.The Pig Roast Catering team were all smiles, worked hard and ensured that the food tasted as good as it looked. We had rave reviews from all of our guest on everything that was served. The team cleaned up to make the venue look like they were never there and sent a lovely follow up note the week after. We highly recommend Pig Roast Catering and count yourself extra lucky if you have Catherine on site.

Took a shot in the dark with this place for our wedding, we wanted something unconventional as a centerpiece for our meal and it was perfect. Guests raved about the pig, it easily fed all 41 people. The meat was so tender and the skin super crispy. Would love to order again if I'm doing another large gathering.

I was a part of a (beautiful) wedding that used this service and while the food itself was amazing and delicious; everything by else about the company was just awful.On top of zero communication or problem solving skills, the so-called “event coordinator” couldn’t answer simple questions DAY OF about the only event they had that day, and refused to help. Myself + other members of the bridal party had to direct and take charge to ensure that dinner and tables were set up to the best of our ability for the 200+ people that were arriving to the venue in(at that point) 1.5 hours.None of the brides timelines or expectations were met, and none of the staff were cooperative. Often times they were aggressively late, to the point we had thought they took our friends money and ran and weren’t going to show up. Anything that was included in their job description (provided by the company itself) was not done by them, and was taken on by members of the wedding, and when we mentioned timing during service to set up for the cake display / desserts, none of the servers said they would help and got frustrated once the set up begun, complaining they had to help.The bride is still waiting for a response more than 6 months after her wedding.While the food was great it’s not worth the headache, stress or manual labour on a wedding day! Save yourself the time and book elsewhere.

I can’t say enough good things about Feast your Eyes and Rig Roast catering. I am so grateful for Paula who did an amazing job with our wedding. From the decor to the food and everything else was absolutely perfect. I got so many compliments on the entire day especially the food, everyone loved it! I definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a fantastic event planner.

I waited 6 months to post my review hoping that i would be able to give a more fair and honest review after my bride emotions" had subsided. I used Pig roast catering for my large serbian outdoor wedding. I will strart by saying the food was amazing!!!!! We to this day recive compliments on the food. That being said

The roasted pig was a huge hit at our family event. I must say that the pig was roasted to perfection. There were a lot of compliments on the taste, and how it was moist and tender. Although we had the option of going boneless and having the pig carved for us, I opted to keep the bone in and carve it myself. It was easier than I thought and a fun experience! It was also a very easy experience placing the order and picking it up. I sent in my form with my requirements including the date and time of pick up. When I showed up on the pick-up date, it was ready right on time and they wheeled it out to my SUV. Will definitely be coming back for another roasted pig for future events. Great job!

I order a pig a few weeks back just for pick up to add to my party food, it was beyond delicious!!! There service and communication is flawless. I’m looking forward to ordering again!
