Very nice experience for the price. 6 services dinning included.. + spa + jaccuzi. Very clean

While eating one of their croissant, I pulled out of my mouth a gray beard hair over an inch long. Gross!The rain shower is defective: you can't adjust the temperature with the handle.. where ever you set it at, the water returns rapidly to extremely hot! This is dangerous!The cup holding the creamers and butter that we found in the mini fridge was filthy. Makes breakfast very pleasant!!!!! Gross.The entrance mat had cigarette but jammed in, and the ashtray right at the door was full and stunk bad: felt like entering a low end tavern. Gross.Restaurant: on the first day, after 35 minutes of waiting without having someone to greet us, I had to go in the kitchen to ask for something to eat. The meal was part of the package! Finally we got served.On a positive note, once we finally got restaurant service, the server was very good.I do not recommend this auberge at all: this place was a deception.

Very low quality for the cost, highly not recommended.Room - terrible decor, uncomfortable bed, outdated...everything. Complete rip-off.Package deal" - the dinner took 2.5 hours to be served

Nice place and the breakfast was great, it's not a buffet, the owner prepares it herself and changes up the menu everyday. The only issue was with the bathroom, toilet did not flush properly and also the pipes were screaming when I took a shower. They really need to fix the plumbing. Overall I would still recommend, it is still a very nice place.

Nice room with hot tub and fireplace, small but adequate. Six course dinner was not bad, desserts were delicious. On site massage service was a nice touch.

We went here after getting a gift certificate from family. Our first impression was that the place felt in a strange location. We were expecting to he in the nature far from everything, but we are actually right next to homes. We thought we would be able to go for walks or go by the lake, but no. No walking paths that we could find and no access to the lake. Once we got to the reception, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We got our room quickly and everything was ready in it. The room felt very old however. There is a an AC unit, but it was extremely loud. We had to turn it off to go to bed properly. They have a 6 course meal included, which we enjoyed overall. The waiters are the owners of the inn and the same people who gave us our rooms. When I saw that, I was afraid for the service, but the service waa actually quite good. The 6 course menu comes with basic options, but you can pay for extras. For example, they have steak, but not included in the base. If you want it, you can get it for an extra 7$. The base plates are alright, my wife went with those and overall enjoyed the food, I went with extras in almost every section and I had a very good diner. We had a nice bottle of wine and ordered another one to bring to the room without any issues. We slept good, used the hot tub in the room, it was very nice. The continental breakfast in your room is quite simple, its on your bedside table when you get to your room, I would have liked more. We also took massages, which were nice.Overall, a strange little place that needs a little spruce up. We enjoyed ourselves, but would have liked to be more in nature / secluded from the neighborhood.

Very pleasant stay. Restaurant is cozy and food excellent! 6 course meal and everything was delicious. Service very friendly in french and english. Rooms very clean and bed comfy. Mattress was newer. Hot tubs were clean and jacouzi in our room also. Will return for sure!

Great location for a quiet stay, it's a nice cozy place with a true rustic charm. We stayed for two night and enjoyed every second of it. The rooms are dated but it's part of the atmosphere. The restaurant is quite nice, service is great and the food is fantastic! For 80$ per person per night, we can't be more happy to end every night in the hot tub, with a glass of wine. I can't pick my favorite time of the year to go, both winter and summer offer different decors and a different atmospheres.

We had a good night's stay there and the room was fine. The food for dinner was really good and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment with a bowl of things in your room but not a consistent number of things for the both of us that were staying. All in all it was good though.
