2 months into the advanced skincare specialist program & I have learned a lot! I’m very grateful for the instructors that I’ve had (Candace & Kinselle) & have learned a lot from them two. They provided a lot of perspective and what to expect in the industry. The schedule is very flexible & the class sizes are good. The only thing I would ask is there to be more supplies for students. At times we didn’t have enough towels, or bed liners. I also would have loved if the school provided lancets to show us extractions with them, otherwise I would recommend!

I really like this College. The programs are well organized. Staff is great and helpful. Currently in Medical easthetic program, so far had a great experience especially in Laser class. My instructor (Shanzey) is amazing. Very knowledgeable, helpful, lovely she is. Cant wait to have her again for another class.

I did Eyelash Extension Technician course from International beauty Institute, Mississauga on June 17 & 18. Norah was our instructor for this course. I found her extremely knowledgeable, friendly and detail oriented. She explained minutest points in a very detailed manner. She gave us many tips, which are very important for our professional life in this field. I am very happy to have Norah as my instructor. I would highly recommend Norah to any one wanting to get trained in Eye lash extensions profession.

I went it IBI in Mississauga for the waxing certification. Lana was my teacher and she was a great at teaching and very knowledgeable. She made me feel more confident after taking her classes. She is straight forward and won’t baby you which is what I liked most about her.

I had a great experience learing how to do lash extensions from Norah. She is very talented. She taught us every little detail and paid attention to each student individually. Also, she was very patient and calm. I loved learning from her.

Had a great experience doing my makeup artist certification. Jenn and Maddie were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to learn with. They were both friendly, patient, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure all questions were answered.I would definitely recommend this certification course for entry level and beginner artists. If you’re looking for more of an intermediate or advanced training, this course may not be suitable. The knowledge and training I received were valuable, however, as a self- taught artist, with 25 years of experience, I believe having different levels of course availability would have been a better option for someone in my position. I would recommend doing a visit to the school, and requesting a course overview to see if it meets your needs. I was also looking for more guidance on the business end of working as a new freelance artist, however this was not a major part of the curriculum. Overall, the instructors were experienced and very open to answering questions I had specifically wanted answers to. I just believe the course as a whole should be divided based on previous training, ability and knowledge of the foundations of makeup.

I am currently enrolled in the Advanced Skin Care program at IBI for 2 months and have had the privilege of being taught by 2 amazing instructors, Candice and Kinselle ! They are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and aren't afraid to encourage students to be their best - I absolutely loved my experience because of them!

I am currently enrolled at the International beauty institute and I can honestly say the instructors that I have had the opportunity to work with at this institution are exceptional! This school offers you a great balance of theory and hands on learning to fully equip you for the real world. Not to mention the wealth of knowledge the instructors have Kinselle, Cecilia, Shiraz!

I did my part time Make artistry course from this institute ! Highly disappointed with the course over all. I joined this course with high expectation of learning and advance my make up skills for my own knowledge and eventually start my career in the makeup industry. This course was for 7classes for 5 hours each and as being a full time worker i thought this was a great opportunity to start working on my goals to learn makeup professionally. But unfortunately the expectations were all ruined as I did not learned much from this course. This course needs to go more practical training than theory. My teacher was only making us read theory and we barely got couple hours out of this 7 classes to do makeup on each other. I strongly believe makeup skills comes with practice. That’s the expectation we took with us when we enrolled in this course. Our class was disappointed with the material and the way everything went. We did not finish this course with the hope but disappointment of not learning anything by spending so much money! I drove from Brantford to mississauga every Saturday to learn something but it wasn’t the case. I am sorry to say makeup is not to read through books but it should be more practical training. Our teacher was also a beginner in the makeup. Bridal section of the book wasn’t even covered on time and we were told that we have a less time to learn bridal now! I think bridal shouldn’t be in the content of this course if it was never covered on time for us. Over all it was a big disappointment and anyone who wants to actual learn the makeup should not get enrolled in this makeup certificate program. everything we learned from the course we could have sit home and read from the book! Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ONTO THIS COURSE!

Started the laser technician diploma course and am really enjoying it! The online theory was a little slow, but the practical portion has been amazing. The in-person classes are engaging and super informative without being over saturated, and Shanzey is a fantastic teacher!
