Went in looking to get a trim/clean up because my hair has been getting a little shaggy. Was hoping for some easy scissor work to cut two or three inches off. He said he wouldn’t do it. I was told my hair was too long and that I had a “girl’s haircut”. It’d be a little more reasonable if I had hair down to my shoulders and was looking for a fancy cut. I guess if you own the place you can choose who you serve. I took my business elsewhere.

Took our 6 year old son there to get a haircut and was AWESOME!! All of the hockey ( Toronto Maple Leaf ) memorabilia is incredible and is a really cool environment and Todd the barber was awesome!!

Tom's is a great place to get your hair cut. The barber is very friendly and easy to talk to. He is also very meticulous. I've never had a haircut from here I wasn't happy with.

I was in town for business at Queens and needed a hair cut. So I Iooked for the closest place near my hotel. I found Tom's. What a delight- not only did I get a great hair cut, I got to see a great deal of Toronto Maple leaf regalia. I was treated well even though I am a life long Habs fan. My only regret is that I don't get to Kingston that often otherwise this would be my regular stop for a hair cut!

First time visiting, I got an acceptable haircut from whom I believe was the proprietor of the business. Second time, it was an older gentleman who proceeded to absolutely butcher the job and cut down my beard WITHOUT ASKING! Never again.

This place is great, I’ve never had a problem with them and there cuts are always exactly what I want! Price is great and atmosphere is great. Also Sarah Burgess, they turned the girl down because they’re a barber shop! LOL they’re not typically trained to do female hair cuts so turning her down was a kind thing for them to do. You don’t want to do something you’re not trained to do, look up what a barber shop is, she should have went to a salon. Educate yourselves Before you make a bad review
