It's free, so you won't have buyer's regret, but that's where the pros end. Collection is a bit random, some good pieces mixed in with some really amateur scribbles. Can't shake the feeling that it's just stuff that was rejected from other legitimate galleries, hence being free I suppose. You get given a little sheet of information about the artists" which is just a list of their names

It's a small space, but it's well worth checking out the exhibits when you're on campus.

Cool art but not much to see, that's the unfortunate part, in addition very little space and no where to sit down...

The current exhibition at the U of W art gallery was an instructor of mine from my university courses. She like to work with casting and hand built aot wheel thrown pottery and was experimenting with computer aided aspects of her ceramic areas. This is reflected in this work, an examination of the funny shapes that grow out of dead trees and such. It might be my own computer background, but in addition to the 3d scans of the eruption shapes I noticed that the web of the tree trunks formed binary trees themselves. It was a bit confusing to find the gallery, the main entrance to the campus is in the middle of the building complex, but once there the gallery is just around the corner, under the escalators, not far from the post office. You have to schedule your visit, which makes it hard to just pop in, but it is an interesting study in ceramics
