Went there on Friday with some friends and oh my, what an experienceWe were a group of 6 and we got our table and ordered some food drinks, all going well so far, problem happened when they suddenly gave us a 15 minute warning. We were shocked, since we weren't communicated AT ALL that the table would need to be removed and we had only been there for less than 40 minutes, understandably mistakes happen but the issue was that they didn't seem willing to provide a solution, we were the ones who had to come up with ideas and compromises, which made for a very uncomfortable experience. Our waitress was also not great, which I hate saying but for the sake of an honest review I feel like its a must, she didn't walk to the other members of the table instead we had to yell over the loud music, as well as keep directing her to the ones who had any questions or wanted to order. She felt very rude and at the end of the night we still had to pay the 20% tip which is already included in the bill. The band was amazing, though! That was the one positive out of this experience, which almost made it worth it.

Hard to enjoy a show when all the tables are reserved for the performers and you can only stand with nowhere to sit your drinks on.

It's very good you can still feel like it's the oldest bar but you can also feel like it's a new version , you have. Bar vibes , live music vibes , patio vibes or club vibes on the top floor , it's one of my favorite spot , the crew kills it , and you can trust me because I don't work there

Nice place, with a patio. They have live music 3-4 days a week. The nachos were absolutely filling with abundant toppings! Must try

Great pub (bar) situated at a Cross section which is busy and perfect for just feeling the city vibe of Toronto (if you're sitting outdoors). We had some drinks and nachos (one of the best nachos ever). I'll always remember this bar as I had a drunk Irish lady rub my head and wish me well while complimenting my girlfriend. I couldn't tell who she was hitting on but we eventually left her to some innocent bystanders sitting next to us. Sorry folks, no dramatic ending to the story here, I'm getting too old for misdemeanours.

I come here with friends, in less than 1 hour while we are about to order food they told us we need to leave in 15 minutes..this is outrageous we explained to them we are in the kiddle of ordering but they clwarly busy and want us out with no prior noticeWorst experience ever..don't come gereUpdate:We werent against any rule or policy ot just that nobody told us upon artiving, after long come and forth discussion with the associate and the manager we manage to stay and they find us alternative at the next available table.Update 2 : life is good again and we are about to pay we are surprised by 20% addedWhen we asked about it they told us it's a mandatory gratuity for paty of 6 people or more where we weren't told anytime upon arrival not mentionned in the menu nor wrbsite and they brought the bouncer asking me to pay like am sort of thief..Amanda is only person who was genuinely nice to us.

Good to be into the oldest Toronto bar! Defenatly you expect more variaty of beers! Wings are ok; Nachos are good. They put jalapeno with seed which made it too spicy, and tortillas were more wet than crispy!

I live near by & been to this place for about 4-5 times, never again!!- Security is extremely rude (unless you're white)- Staff don't have a problem asking you to move to a smaller table while eating your food, to host another group where you're settingThey should hire different Team to manage this place.

We got food serviced in dirty dishes, asked to changed it for like 3 times and got $30 tips added to bill. For dirty dishes? Wouldn't come again.
