Wise Elephant Family Health Team

This was my worst visit. After going there for 2 years I've never met my doctor. I'm not sure if the doctors assistants are qualified to deal with serious health problems. I went there to get a requisition to to a creatinine blood test as requested by the hospital before doing a ct scan. She was not very knowledgable. I get a different assistant every time I go there. After getting the requisition I ask one of the other assistant if I can do the blood there and she said she wasn't sure. I did it there several times before. After taking the blood I ask if I can check the results on line. She wasn't sure. Then I mention my chart. That's when she told me yes in a couple of days. Few minutes later she left the building. I guess she didn't want to deal with me. All I can say is that it's getting worst at the clinic. This is not working for me. I have to find another family doctor.

This is my family doctor's clinic. Clinic never ever calls back to inform about the results of any tests that they recommend. I have experienced this 3-4 times. To get an appointment with family doctor, there is more then a months wait. Just the doctor himself is nice but that is of no use as you can never see him when you are in need.

I have been a patient in this office for almost 30 years I now find myself without a doctor so I contacted the office to have a new doctor take me on and I was told that I would need to find myself a new doctor elsewhere for none of the doctors are taking new patients what ever happened to DR. Making sure their patients are looked after very frustrated with this situation.

Impossible to book an appointment, one of the receptionists are very rude, I watched her, while she was supposed to be at the front desk, walk to the pharmacy in the building and do some shopping while a line was forming at the front desk, took her sweet time shopping then once she noticed the line took her sweet time walking back. Another time I called the office back about a appointment as I had just got a call from them and the rude receptionist picked up, told me no one called me, and cut off what I was saying by hanging up on me. She often ends the phone calls by just hanging up on you, not even saying goodbye. The other staff are nice but making appointments and dealing with her is beyond frustrating.

I have been coming here for about 5 years now and switching from my last provider to here was the best decision. Harvir is a great health care provider. Very professional and I feel welcome and comfortable each time i have an appointment with her. She knows the right thing to say and articulates very well. On top of that she is extremely empathetic. I make all my appointments on Midash now as the phone services are quite poor. Don't expect a call back, they rarely check messages or return them. Sometimes the phone even cuts off before you can leave a message. On the other hand, this place offers a patient portal to access your health information. I can see my lab results, imaging etc. Without being out of the loop. It is an amazing application. Having prior medical knowledge myself i can kind of pre- interpret"the results on my own sometimes to feel at ease and it updates very fast as results come in

We suppose to be sat up with family doctor and they sat us up with Nurse Practitioner. I didn't know about that until later after 4 months. We have been waiting during the 4 months for referral to specialists and it never happened. Now it has been 5 months and still no referrals. We keep asking and they keep telling us we will inform you but they never did!Last time I had an appointment for my daughter and was expecting to meet with our family's practitioner nurse. I had few questions about some concerns. But someone else met us and when the our family nurse came to talk about the medicine that they described for my daughter, I tried to deliver my other concerns and the nurse got angry and said that she has another patient waiting for her!! WHILE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE PATIENT THAT SHE IS MEETING WITH AT THAT TIME! we weren't informed that someone else will meet us. I am very disappointed. And I will change this clinic for show.

I used to love this practice, but it has become extremely commercial. I don't feel they put the patient first, I think they're more interested in selling non-covered products and services. Even more concerning is that some of their advertising for these products make questionable claims. I've never met my doctor face to face, couldn't pick him out of a line up. The medical assistants are nice and seem knowledgeable, but it isn't the same as having a doctor who knows you and your family. To top it all off, the walk in clinic isn't at the same place all the time and not even in the same neighborhood, but if you go to another walk-in, you will be penalized. It's extremely inconvenient. I've come to really hate this practice and can't find another doctor fast enough.

At my old clinic I used to have to wait over 2 hours until I got in to see a doctor (even with an appointment), after switching to Wise Elephant I didn't have that problem. If I made an appointment, I was seen (or called for a phone appointment) at that exact time. The staff have always been friendly and my family doctor is amazing. Wise Elephant even has a website (and app) where you can book an appointment. On the website I made an account where all of my files and documentation are put for me to view whenever I please. There's even e-refills so I don't have to make an appointment and can request an e-refill through their website. Since I in a different city for school, this is an amazing feature and I can pick up my medication at any pharmacy.

Staff is always pleasant. Rooms are clean and I have never waited over an hour for an appointment. Being able to request refills through their website make life so much easier! Whether seeing my Family Doctor or going through the walk in, I always feel I am listened to and treated with respect. Would like to give 5/5 but I do agree the phone system of calling, leaving a message and waiting for a call back is not convenient.

My family has been clients of the clinic for over 8 years and I have witnessed the business declining in service every year since. Recently, I had to make an appointment on Midash with the doctor because no one ever answers the phone, they contacted me by phone to inform me that I will be seeing a different person. I may have seen my doctor on one occasion in the eight years since becoming a client. I have given up and in the process of looking for a new doctor.
