More 4.5 than 4. New owners are great, working hard to bring this lovely spot up to date. Pool isn't working yat, and the wifi will be up in the next few weeks, but the spots for your trailer are easy to pull through, and level. Power, water, and there is a dump spot on your way out. Recommended!

Amazing hosts!!! Friendly and very accommodating. The park itself is Immaculately clean and very well maintained. The sites are big and easily accessible.Definitely one of the best RV Trailer parks on Trans-Canada highway. Thank you for your hospitality !

Had a lovely site all roads and sites gravelled and graded. Lots of useful and fun stuff in the camp store. Very clean shower facilities, friendly folks and took advantage of firewood delivery by a very hardworking proprietor! She even makes handmade pizzas to order if you crave a “9 o’clock’” snack! If you’re a light sleeper, truck traffic on 17 might be an issue but wasn’t for us! We’d definitely return!

My partner and I upgraded from a tent to a cabin before arriving and we are so happy we did!We were captivated by the rivers view upon entering our site. Our cabin was right on the water. It was the most peaceful I felt in a long time. The bench swing was very relaxing. I played my ukulele and read a book and enjoyed an ice cold bevvy. The cabin itself was very well insulated. It was warm and definitely very cozy.If I might make a suggestion, it would be to plant some flowers or shrubs by the cabins to enhance the beauty of it all.I will remember and return to this spot.

The park was easy to find. It is located right beside highway 17 just east of the little town of Spragge. There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. The interior roads are gravel and big rig friendly. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, B1, was a pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, and water only) were to the left side. Distancing is fair for a rural park. Most sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was well manicured. Transient campers are parked close to the front thus some highway noise is present. Seasonal guests, and there are a lot, are farther back towards the river. There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not find any OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There is a playground for children and it appears there are Canoe Rentals available by the river. There are no restaurants or stores (other than the very small one at the campground office) within easy walking distance but 18 Km away it the town of Elliot Lake or 26 Km to Blind River where you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be very over priced because of the very limited services available as an overnighter. We paid $62.14 (inc tax) per night and we feel we received poor value. This is a $40.00 park. Having said that, the competition are charging similar prices. It is obvious to us that their business plan is to cater to their seasonal guests and we transients are a bother, thus, charge the heck out of us so we stay away. We will not be back.

Stopped going east then west on our trip. Pleasant front counter people, clean spaces, quiet enough - it is just off the highway and near a train track, neither were particularly bothersome for us.There's a laundry area, pool and playground area - not utilized by us.Recommend!

Veryclean and well maintained park. We were greated very well and the young lady was very informative. This trip was not planned due to a passing in the family, but we will definitely come back if time allows on our return trip.Back for our return trip and greated very well again. They were booked up, but still accommodated us. We were so impressed with the cleanliness again!Very very nice campground!Thank you for having us!

Good spot to spend a quick night on the road. It's on the side of the road so you can hear the truckers passing at night, but it's not that bad. The facilities are clean. There are fire pits and picnic tables available on the tent spot. Woods and other utilities can be bought in the main cabin. Overall, 50$ for a spot for a tent for one night is kind of expensive, but it's a nice plate.

Arrived after a long day of travel and were not told about the wifi services being down and will not be fixed until next week. No rate reduction on campground fees offered. Booked this one as we needed wifi for some important reasons. Disappointing
