The Next Act
It looks like a very popular place! It was packed but in a good way. It had a very relaxed vibe. We went for a late night supper. I got the vegan Mac n cheese, which was very delicious. It tasted like homemade cooking. I added the jalapeños and diced tomatoes, which made it very spicy!

The best service ever. Our waitress (I failed to catch her name) checked on us often and took the time to get to know us. Asked us what we were there for, responded genuinely and kindly, and made sure we were taken care of. The most generous experience I’ve had and it made an important day even more outstanding. EDIT FOR MANAGEMENT...If you have good vegitarian menu..how are we supposed to know as menu is not correctly marked..we also informed the server about being vegetarian and got no response..JUST LOOK AND YOUR MENU AND MARK IT PROPERLY..HAVE IT LOOK YOUR SELF DOES IT SAY VEG OR VEGAN BESIDE MENU ITEM????Your Jalapeños jack stick had no Jalapeños anywhere not in the sticks not in the dip..For poutine extremely salty soggy fries is the reality and thats from MOVING FROM TORONTO AND QUEBEC REGION TO EDMONTON..HOPE YOU TAKE IT CONSTRUCTIVE FOR YOUR BUSINESS..Also might be that place was veryNot as many vegetarian options for food..we ordered jalapeños sticks and got mozza sticks...poutine was all soggy looks as if it was sitting there for a while..Good beer selection but ordered mule and cocktail completely off balance..Hospitality was good..

Pretty good! I ate there for lunch with a couple of friends and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was a bit slow (likely due to it being peak lunch time hours) but the food made it worth the wait! The chicken bacon brie sandwich was so tasty and I liked how it came with a side of fries (every sandwich and burger comes with fries; my picture does not do it justice). I wasn't the biggest fan of the seating arrangement as it felt quite cramped especially with the mix of high and low tables, but because of the food, I will definitely be returning!

Went there on an afternoon of a Saturday. The place was SUPER packed. I ordered a mediterranean sandwich with cream of mushroom soup and hubby ordered MEATS brisket sandwich. The tofu sandwich could use more flavor, it was really bland. Soup and brisket sandwich were good. I was told the mushroom soup is vegetarian with no meat broth in it. They also have a patio with 3 picnic tables. Servers were good but we think the food was pricey.

Had a nice dinner out at The Next Act. Enjoyed the Critic… bacon cheeseburger. It had a bit of kick… a creeping spiciness that was really good. Fries were good. The beer was nice and cold. There was a really good variety of beer choices. Service was excellent!

fantastic food and service. Atmosphere is also amazing. Do not get the French toast, though. The portion size for it is very, very small for $17 - it was close to the same size of the side of fries my gf got with her sandwich. And you don’t even get any sides with it either! Either up the amount of French toast given or lower the price!Again, every other thing I’ve had from here has been fantastic and the servers are always so friendly.

I visited on June 4/2023 with a friend. We were able to have brunch, which was delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly , as well as the tators served with my breakfast meal were also crispy which is a bonus. They have vegan options and my friend enjoyed a lovely vegan sandwich. The staff from the moment we entered until we left were so friendly and great. They made sure to check on us even though the place was packed, and they were so busy. I would recommend this place for brunch for anyone, and am looking forward to come back and try at a different meal time.
