The Painted Lady Parlour

Went in for a couple very important pieces of work to be completed. Anika was absolutely amazing, she did a beautiful job. The pieces turned out absolutely amazing! I’m so pleased with her work and professionalism. Joan was available and answered all my piercing questions. These people are so amazing. I am absolutely over the moon that they have become such a huge part of our community, not just with their business but by organizing and participating in community events.Above and beyond.

I've had three tattoos and two private piercings done here and I will never go anywhere else. The piercer Joan is so patient, kind and gentle that I actually enjoyed the experience rather than fear it. The tattoos came out beautifully and healed perfectly. Definitely recommend this place.

i went to the painted lady parlour to get my nipples pierced by Joan, they weren’t healing and were very sore. i went to a different piercer and the person had told me that they were pierced way to deep into my areola, which can be very dangerous. when i went back to see joan she just put a longer bar in and it did nothing. so i took them out and let the heal to get them redone else where.

Both my husband and I got tattoos here this past weekend after moving closer to the area and had a wonderful experience and will most definitely be back.This shop came well recommended and after my experience there was no doubt why it was.My first experience just chatting to book my appointment was already so pleasant and professional and friendly - right off the bat I felt we were going to the right place.The atmosphere of the shop is inviting , homey and clean - all the things you look for in a tattoo parlour.The staff were so kind and welcoming - (we were quite a bit early) - we got to chit chat with the owner who was so pleasant , made us laugh and you could tell truly cared about her business, staff and clients. She made us feel so welcome and felt like we had already been there before. I love that.I had Anika do a fine line floral piece on my arm - when I got the stencil of what I asked for - she saw the vision exactly better than I could’ve dreamed of and I couldn’t of been more thrilled , her line work was everything I’ve been searching for. She made me feel comfortable and was so kind.Lexie did my hubbys piece (because one spouse can’t just get one tattoo without the other) she was accommodating with all the changes and positioned it perfectly , she was kind , and her lines were crisp and everything he was looking for , the additional poppy’s are a wonderful addition to his sleeve.Every staff member in this shop was nothing but welcoming and kind, and gave off all the vibes that you’d want to feel when making a permanent decision. We will most definitely be back soon to this shop to continue our tattoo journey… maybe a piercing or two?Thank you all for making this experience a fantastic one! I had my hip/thigh tattoo done by @inked.by.lex and she was AMAZING! She was very gentle (as it is a sensitive area) and walked me through all the steps of exactly what she was doing to calm my nerves. I did purchase numbing cream which made a huge difference if you’re worried about the pain! She was quick with completing the tattoo and it turned out exactly how I wanted it! Overall my experience getting a tattoo was fantastic and I can’t wait to get more! :)As for the shop itself, it was very clean and sterile! Cleanliness at a tattoo shop is sooo important and you can really tell they spend a lot of time in between clients making sure they’re sanitizing the stations and tools well! The staff were all SO lovely and friendly and didn’t make me feel intimidated at ALL! Everyone was so welcoming and reassuring and they really made the entire experience that much better. :)Cannot recommend PLP highly enough!!!

Very welcoming group of people! They are all so kind. I can’t wait for a day to come where I can get a tattoo from them! Everyone that works there all seem very professional and every tattoo I’ve seen done by them are absolutely flawless and amazing!

I have finally had the opportunity to go into the PLP and have a experience with a piercing & a tattoo!Joan is super sweet and makes the whole piercing experience so calm and comfortable, I even had to go back to get a change in jewelry and she wasn’t the sweetest and had no issue at all.I ended up getting a “get what you get” gum-ball machine in the same day and had a lovely experience with Lexie.I highly recommend these ladies. They are all so welcoming!

Joan is a rare GEM! Her warm and down-to-earth nature is relaxed and calming. That coupled with her professional and meticulously kept shop always helps me to relax and take in the experience.
