CARSTAR Oshawa Drake Street

I was involved in a rear end accident a couple months ago during a snowstorm and my bumper and rear taillight were damaged. I was able to drive the car until the parts were in. It took carstar 3 days to fix the damage and it looks as good as new. They went above and beyond with even washing the exterior and interior of the car which I really appreciate and was not required. There is also a lifetime warranty on parts for peace of mind. I would highly recommend Carstar for repairs on your vehicle and thanks for the great job and going above and beyond!!

Had repairs done to front panel of my Jeep. Was given an estimate of a week and vehicle was done in 3 days. Also, they took the time to clean my front car mats which was a really nice surprise. Jeep looks good-great job and great service by all.

After a minor collision, our insurance company listed Carstar as one of their recommended repair facilities. We had great communication with Carstar right from the start. As our car was drivable after the accident we were able to drive the car over for the estimate. They told us that some parts would have to be ordered and it could take up to a week to get in. My wife received the call earlier than anticipated that the parts were in and made arrangements to drop the car off. Carstar had the Rental Car company meet my wife at their facility and the drop off of our car and pickup of the rental car very smooth. Our car was ready prior to the time frame that was expected.Not only was the car repaired to our satisfaction, Carstar also went out of their way a did many extras such as an interior cleaning and removal of some marks on the paint. We would highly recommend Carstar to anyone looking to have their car repaired for any reason. I know we will definitely use them again.

My Nana had her SUV in their shop for a minor repair to the hood after an accident. They commented it would only take 1 week for repairs which was fine. However 1 week later there was no update from Carstar about her vehicle being ready. She gave them a call to find out about the status. They commented they found another issue" with her suv that was not dangerous for her to have however they were going to quote it with insurance company to fix it. That took another 2 weeks of waiting. Then Carstar informed us the insurance company would only cover 20% of the new issue. They were told do not proceed if it is not dangerous to have that we would get our own mechanic to take a look at it afterwards (he even commented afterwards there was no concerns about it and not sure why Carstar was holding it for this). Carstar decided to proceed with ordering the parts for the issue we told them not to proceed on. Making us another week without the vehicle. She again called them and said please do not fix this part in my suv. I am not paying for it. They commented if she would not pay for it that they would have to remove the part they were told from the beginning to not touch. It took 1 month to have her suv returned to her. I would never use this carstar location ever again. Poor service that likes to lead you on."

They were friendly, responsive and professional throughout the process. Upon my request they had preponed the repair date. Thank you CARSTAR team and especially to Francine. Had a great experience, and quick service and highly recommend them. The car looks pretty new.

They totally didn't acknowledge my existence when I first visit. It wasn't until I got my insurance to call them repeatedly before anything got started took over a month to send vehicle for keys then vehicle got written off they had plenty of time to fix moter and have it back on road for me to drive 3 home. I hope my insurance company Economical at least waives the deductible in light of all my stress and stupid wait times good thing I'm not working right now because I would have lost my job for sure . My broker Thinkinsure also neglected to add loaner vehicle as well after o wS told I have ALL covered. Now I used my savings for my home to pay for new car cus I am leaving like tomorrow morning and I still have no cash back regarding my kia soul.

Carstar restored my Acura RDX, quicker than expected and it looks brand new. They also discovered some shady info about the dealer I bought the car from and shared it with me. Thanks for going above an beyond guys!
