overall very pleased. took forever because of Covid but that's to be expected. These guys did all the windows in our house and we are pleased with their work. The installers were knowledgeable and helpful in eplaining what was going on and worked with us to solve the inevitable issues that come with big projects like this. Highly recommend.

We try to buy from local business as much as possible, so when we required a new door, Alweather was our choice. Went in with specs in hand, said they would get back to us with quote. 2 weeks later and 3 visits to store......still no quote. SO off to Home Depot we went, and with their very friendly and helpful staff, we had a door in less then 20 mins.

The staff at Alweather were friendly and organized, and they did a fine job with the installation of our new door and storm door. However, there were a couple of snags that, I feel, should not have happened with a company that specializes in doors. After waiting two months for installation (which was expected because of Covid-related backups), it was found that a standard size door would not fit. This should have been determined during the first visit, simply by popping off the trim and taking a careful look. As a result, we had to wait another 8 weeks and pay significantly more than expected for custom sized doors. During installation, the installer told me my current dead bolt lock would not fit the 1.5 inch hole in the door, and that I'd have to buy a new lockset. Why there was a 1.5 inch hole when the standard size is 2 1/8 (and why my 'custom' door was not fitted with the right size hole), I'm still not sure. Anyway, I went online and quickly found out that the lock could easily be modified to fit in a smaller hole. I would expect door installation specialists to have that kind of knowledge.

Have bought both windows and window inserts from here. Both of which I have installed. Sometimes have bought knew weather striping here also for exterior doors. I do installs on both windows and doors if purchasing first from here.

Amazing service, fair prices, and for the season a very quick turn around for the area. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have new windows put in. Can't recommend more.

I contacted alweather windows over two months ago. It took about 3 weeks to arrange a free quote appointment. When the morning of the quote arrived their worker was late without notice showed up without a measuring tape and tried to leave. I offered a measuring tape so he would stay. I haven’t heard a thing from this company or a quote since their measuring guy came on a Sunday morning that was Mother’s Day morning of all sundays to have a quote appointment that as NeVER EVEr got a call or a quote back about. Don’t waste your time. Go elsewhere.
