Bought a new car and called my insurance provider to get a transfer done. I was not happy with the quote I was given and decided to get quotes elsewhere. I was invited to say something for Angie DeGroot Desjardins Insurance. As a customer who had been with Angie for 2+ years, and with experience of making a claim (total loss), I would say Angie leads a responsible firm. Based on my experience, Angie and her collegues respond to emails and phones very efficiently. Communications with them are easy and smooth. Update of personal information (where car parks, etc) is fast and effective as well, which is really all I needed for brokerages. I had a personal appointment with Angie about 1 year and a half ago, and it was quite good, too.I did have a total loss and made a claim, and Desjardins didn't value my vehicle at a price that I value it (they still valued a reasonable price, to be fair). However, that's an issue (or an expectation) I would have for their actorial science department, not with Angie. Meanwhile, since Desjardins provided me with a reasonable amount of premium, I am quite happy about that, too.

I have been with Angie for four years and every interaction was always a positive one. She is quick with booking calls and getting quotes together and goes above and beyond with explanation's, as to what is the best option for your current situation and how you can adapt it for the future. Not only is Christina is an amazing Insurance Representative, she is also a great person to talk to. From day one she has been very professional, polite, and respectful. I can always count on Christina to do everything she can to make sure my requests are met and she gets me the best rates possible! When you deal with Christina, you get great service and full transparency. She always answers my questions clearly and makes sure I fully understand. The transparency is a nice change compared to other insurance companies.Even though I probably drive her nuts, I always get timely and enthusiastic responses even with my constant insurance policy changes!I can't see myself ever leaving Desjardins, unless Christina leaves!Thank you Christina!
