Very busy restaurant during lunchtime but we got seated pretty quickly. We ordered #6 Mi Quang and #1 Banh Beo. They tasted pretty decent and the fact that you can’t really find these specialty dishes in other Viet places makes it more special. Service was fast even though it was very busy. Would definitely recommend if you wanna try Viet food other than pho.

Busy restaurant even 1 hour before closing, but well deserved and worth the wait!We got one of their special dry noodles (8) and their beef stew noodle soup (26). The dry noodles come with shrimp, pork and a bunch of vegetables. It had a strong garlicky taste with a hint of sweetness. The beef stew was very flavourful and included lots of chunks of beef and carrots.The food is amazing and the service was quick and friendly. Went here in the evening on a weekend for dinner. It was pretty empty so getting a table wasn't a problem. Ordered the #2 and #12 from their menu and it came really quickly. Honestly not much to complain about, the steamed rice cakes and shrimp was good. Beef, noodles and broth was good as well; with so many pho places in Vancouver it all tastes the same at this point. I still prefer My Chau for my pho but really no complaints here at Hoi An Cafe. Overall, enjoyed my experience here and no real complaints.

Super busy restaurant. It smelt like wet dog when we walked in, not appetizing at all. Really cramped inside as well. They really try to pack as many people in, which is understandable because the food is delicious but the atmosphere is less than ideal. Their pho is good, no complaints about the food.

Pretty small space, ideal for group of 2. It took a while to seat my group of 6. The service was not really great. The food was okay. The Cao Lau was pretty salty though. They only accept either cash or debit card like other typical Vietnamese restaurants. Be prepared for enough cash if you travel from the U.S.

My friend brought me here and it was great. Recommended. My friend speaks fluent Vietnamese, so I’m not sure if this made a difference.

Super fast service! Food good, especially lemongrass pork chops and chicken.Bún Bò Huế (#21) okay. Beef and pork hock a tad chewy. Fish balls and pork blood tasty. Noodles slurpy. Spicy broth has a bit of heat.Phở Dặc Biệt (#12, small) alright. $10 is a good price point these days, but meat a little sparse.
