Nourishing Gourmet catered my wedding at Rainbows Roost in Kamloops! And while it seems to be a super popular venue amongst brides and Sameena and her team do what seems like at least 20 events there a month. Sameena never once made my fiancé or I feel like we were just another wedding to serve". From the very beginning Sameena's passion and enthusiasm and all around excitement was so contagious that it helped us finalize the decision to go with Rainbows Roost as I was indecisive between there and a few other venues outside of the city. I found that talking with Sameena and going over menu options was just incredibly easy and the farthest thing from stressful. Leading up to my wedding; (that was in May) even with how busy and booked they were for wedding season Sameena always got back to me promptly to answer my questions and concerns.The day of my wedding Sameena and all of her staff were so kind and helpful! We had the most amazing experience with Sameena at nourishing gourmet! She catered our wedding at rainbows roost and was extremely involved, organized and attentive to my vision for our wedding! She created a unique appetizer menu for us which was more than we could have asked for and presented it in a beautiful manner! All meals ( appies, dinner and midnight snack) was served on time without any issues or concerns. We fully trusted Sameena on our wedding day and we were definitely not let down!

Sameena and her company, Nourishing Gourmet, did the food for my wedding this past September 2015.Service- Sameena is very experienced with planning meals for large numbers of people, clearly. Throughout the planning process, which involved many emails back and forth and two face-to-face meetings prior to the wedding, she was constantly asking me the right questions that I would never have considered as someone who has never planned a large event before. She saved our butt by letting us know that the tent (our wedding was outdoors in an event tent) was far too small with enough notice that we could change it, and man was she right! The tent she suggested ended up being the perfect size, and we were so grateful for her suggestion to change it. She helped us determine important logistics. My only complaint is that she did snap loudly at my husband in front of several family members who were decorating the hall, in response to him asking a not-inappropriate question, to the point where several family members came up after and asked What was that about?" This was the day before the wedding
