As long as they are satisfied that THEIR needs are met, they offer nothing but empty words and well-rehearsed talking points.It’s time potential donors have a say in what is considered a reasonable time to release the body to a funeral home upon declaration of death. Any delay over 24 hours after a donor is declared dead should negate the donation agreement and the body be released immediately to the funeral home.Let’s call a spade a spade! These people are no different from any other business or agency. As long as they get paid and organs keep coming in, they are not going to change. Potential donors should demand stricter guidelines so their families are not left in limbo by these heartless administrators.
