The bars on the windows really help remind you that this place is a prison. Another great reminder is the frequent abuse from the wonderful staff here; the sneering through windows while students freeze in potentially life threatening temperatures or storms, the blatant favouritism among students that is seemingly universally practiced by all the teachers, the lacking curriculum that in no way prepares students for highschool, and the desperate abuse of power from virtually all staff and faculty who consistently seem to value their rigid and flawed regulations over the lives and well being of their students. Proof of the school's effectiveness can be found in the abnormally high rates of crime perpetrated by students who are often facing serious mental health issues as a direct result of Rocky Lake Junior High. Overall a great place to send your children.

Will not call it as the best Junior High school, but is not too bad, it is pretty good to be called as a government school. If you need the best education then should go to a private school. People who are giving the school one or two star then they should start looking for a private school because you can't ask for more in a government school.

It's an okay school, I guess. I mean, we aren't really allowed to go to the bathrooms and even when asking for an eraser or pencil or something, we're mistaken for talking, which then leaves us in the hallway waiting for the teachers to talk to us. I mean, I only came here last year but Mrs. Clarke is a very good teacher. I went to private school last year and surprisingly so, the teachers here actually helped me here more than they did in private school. They did not go easy on you in grade 8. But overall, I will give this school a generous rating.

So for starters. This School is actually garbage, the outside makes the school look like a prison, and the mold on the ceiling grows so fast that watching it grow is like a pass time if your bored, and don't get me started about the teachers. I can think of three teachers that are actually nice. You get in trouble for the most stupid reasons, my advice stay under the radar with some of the teachers and then they won't tell at you for the most stupid reasons. If you say something even slightly unrelated to the topic well, have fun in detention! Good luck future students!

RLJH was quite a weird experience. Many time I would question why I am here. It has many poor teachers that could not control their class, many times the police were called, and the lockdowns. One thing that made me push this from a 2 star to a 3 star is, Mr Beale, he always made my day with his numerous amounts of story's and he amazing personality. So if you do go here make sure you are in band. He is probably one of my favorite teachers that I have ever had. Other than that the school was not the best I would not recommend it.
