It's a solid 3 stars - as it's hard to rate Chinese restaurants coming from an Asian heritage.The restaurant certainly delivers solid western Chinese food.They have a decent combo menu with the requisite spring roll, chicken fried rice, and main course option.If you're a little more daring give the wor wonton soup or ma po tofu a try.Tried the Yangzhou fried rice and Pan fried pork dumplings this time - the fried rice was ok and the dumplings one of the best dim sum options on the menu.They do have red vinegar and chili sauce on request - thumbs up for that.Be aware that when ordering tea you won't receive the usual jasmine or green tea options. We received vanilla bourbon - unrequested- as the option of the day - which is a bold choice with dim sum. It was tasty but slightly off-culture but hey - it worked for a relaxing Saturday afternoon.3 stars for the owners trying to do something different, and having fresh ingredients. Less than 4 or 5 as it just doesn't compare to real Chinese food - but not bad for western style.

If I could make tofu taste this good at home, I would eat it every day. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and fresh, nicely spiced, and the vegetables were perfection. We ordered too much and had enough leftovers for a complete dinner at home, all for around $55. The service was lovely, the view was spectacular ... Definitely 5 stars.

Best restaurant on the Coast. It is wonderful to have Asian specialties here. I had Salt and Pepper Shrimp, which was actually more like deep fried shrimp with peppers. It was fantastic. And Sichuan green beans with pork. The hot peppers added a lot. Extremely good.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had and I lived in Vancouver for the better part of a decade. The poor reviews on here are associated with the old owner. Nice new room and kitchen. nicely done.

Ignore the bad reviews, especially since some are from the old restaurant. This is the best Chinese food on the Coast. Really fresh ingredients and delicious taste, not at all greasy, bland, or salty like some other places. All the dishes we got were super tasty: beef with broccoli, sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, and pan fried pork dumplings. Obviously a beautiful view as well! The only downside is that we feel it’s a bit expensive, which probably makes it four stars, but because it’s much better than the other Chinese food in town, we’ll still give it 5 stars. We’ll definitely go back again!

Stopped here for lunch, and the service was amazing. They brought water for our puppy without us even asking! Food was delicious and the views are gorgeous!
