Yes Audio Visual - Vancouver handled the AV for our inaugural AGM. This was challenging as we hosted a hybrid meeting with both in person and virtual attendees. James handled the whole event in a very professional and efficient manner, going above and beyond what we would normally expect our AV tech to cover. Without a doubt, our event would not have been the success it was without James' expertise. We would highly recommend his services!

I hired YES AUDIO VISUAL to do the livestream of my late husbands funeral.I wanted it to perfect, not only to honour him properly, but also because there were many people around the globe that would not be able to attend the service. I was anxious as I heard many horror stories from different people about the unpredictable quality of live-streaming.I needn’t have worried. James was very professional from the start. We rented a venue with some challenges on audio-visual that we did not understand at the outset, and James was introduced to me by the venue manager to help me to deal with it. James was super patient and understanding during the long leading up to the event day. At one point after a meeting with the venue manager, James actually took the initiative to advise me that l could remove some of items that I had ordered that he deemed as not essential in improving the audio-visual effects of our event. I was very impressed.When I met James on the event day finally, he had arrived early to set up, and was wonderfully professional, competent and pleasant to all involved throughout our event.I'm very grateful to James and his support to our event. And I definitely will consider using his service again for my future events.

James was very helpful when we booked him for a celebration of life for my son. There were so many people that the church we had originally booked with was too small and were able to find larger one. James helped to post the new information by putting it on the waiting page for the event. He took extra time to make sure that everything was perfect. After 2 years of pandemic lock-down, my family was finally able to consider an in-person memorial service for my late sister. We also wanted the service to be available online, so that friends and family from afar could join.Once event planning got underway, I soon realised that I did not have the time, skills, or equipment to run a proper hybrid event. I reached out to Yes Audio Visual asking if they could do A/V for a hybrid memorial service. James Haldane, the company owner, got back to me promptly, and affirmed that they do cover such events.Also, because memorial services are sensitive in nature, James himself took on the A/V for the event (rather than send an employee), just to ensure that everything was done with sensitivity and to minimize any mishaps. He was very professional, met me at the venue ahead of time to assess the capabilities of the venue, layout, internet, etc. He planned everything carefully ahead of time, and also came early on the day-of to do proper setup, testing, etc.Afterwards, I was supplied with a video recording of the event. A Zoom meeting video was also supplied, since the online component was webcast via Zoom.I highly recommend Yes Audio Visual and would gladly use them again.

I retained James and YesAV to help me realize my mother’s funeral during the Public Health Order restricting attendees to 10. It was an early decision I had to make because one of my siblings couldn’t attend in person and I felt it was important for them to be there, at least virtually. It then also became apparent that, despite the truly commendable work of the funeral home, they hadn’t really adapted to the current sad and isolating restrictions imposed on in-person funerals. James was professional from the very first call. He listened to my vision of the funeral, described clearly the services he could offer and worked with me closely in the planning stage to deliver a beautiful and emotionally engaging experience in the chapel and for the home viewers. He was able to bring in two live speakers with HD quality images and near perfect sound. He worked hard, was always available and responsive, and instilled a high degree of confidence in me in the lead up to the event. The outcome was a high quality, aesthetic and touching funeral. We’ve received many compliments - 87 Live-streamed and over 140 views the following day. He edited the event and then provided me with a polished copy for our family to cherish. I am very grateful to him and would recommend him fully.

Contracted Yes Audio Visual this week for an one day event requiring projector/screen/speakers at our facility. James was super helpful in making it happen smoothly. He provided suggestions on setup, technical information and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. Definitely would recommend using their services again.

Yes AV set up our virtual open house on Zoom using 2 professional cameras and wireless microphones which followed our staff around on a tour of our facility. The quality was amazing! We were very happy with the outcome and impressed by the customer service!
